All I can really remember is man loses money/credit cards/keys - ends up sleeping rough in a little camp he makes himself in a triangular patch of garden just by one of the London Bridges - might be Albert or Chelsea - I think he's needing to avoid police for some reason as well. Help please if you can

Thanks. Fiction. Not future. In its own time. Early 21st century or late 20th I think. Read it as actual book. Can't remember cover. Possibly read it as book club read. Maybe Richard boon remembers it. He's on here and was book club leader. Will check with him as well.
