When i read this book i didn't know what to say about it. I had mixed feelings about it but after sometime when i analysed it from a few different angles I can say that it is a good book. One that requires time and patiences :P

message 166: by Azka (new)

Azka | 11 comments I am reading Mistborn: The Final Empire. It has such an intricate world building. I am impressed!

message 167: by [deleted user] (new)

I heard the GraphicAudio version of the first Mistborn book a while back. It was amazing. I'm planning to read the rest of the series. What's really unique about this series is that it's set in all time periods. Future books in the series will be set in contemporary settings and then in outer space! That's something to look forward to.

message 168: by Uzair (new)

Uzair | 1172 comments Reading Insignia by S.J Kincaid. The summary said:Perfect for fans of Ender's Game, after reading that i didn't even bother reading it all.And my hunch was correct this books was everything i have been looking for the past month,sci-fi,suspense,twists,betrayal........all in all just like Ender's Game except for the humor, certain things had me laughing for hours at a time and i had to bite my tounge to keep myself from bursting oit in laughter,a must read.

Muhammad Ahsen Tahiri (ahsentahiri) | 204 comments Just re-read The Life After Life, after a long time. Found it amazing and spooking again. :/ coz after all it was non-fictitious first-hand accounts of Near Death Experiences or you can say reviving after an apparent death; reviving to tell the shocking experiences which when related to ones by others are so resembling. Plus reading ancient texts, the experiences were resembling again very shockingly.

To my worse, read Memoirs of Geisha (resumed).

Feeling a bit upset now :)

Adeem Sadiq (adeemsadiq) | 47 comments Muhammad wrote: "Just re-read The Life After Life, after a long time.

I have read Life after Life. I found it amazing. I was thinking what if we have an undo button. How the life would be like. Then I read this book and thought whatever I wrote would be a pale imitation, and drop the subject.

message 172: by The Raven King (new)

The Raven King - Feyzan (theravenkingx) | 60 comments Just finished reading the memoir of Paul Kalathini "when breath becomes air." It's about living when you're surrounded by death. It's about accepting and grieving about the loss of your planned future and find a new meaning. It's about appreciating all little things that we have and people around us while we can.
