Are character names important when picking out a new book to read?

Amber Bartley (amber414) Yes! I don't mind some, but if I pick up a book, and the character names are silly or just plain weird, I won't read it.

Normally I don't really care about names in a book, but there was a book recently I read the synopsis for and I just didn't care for the name so I decided not to read it.
