@ishi- the difference is, even though my class teacher didn't, the dean kept telling is and punishing us every day and she'd even take us to her office or call our parents. She did that for the entire session and when we finally graduated she was like, thank god u're leaving XD

@Ishita: Our princi is.. alright I guess. Rude but cool on punishments. We broke a table and didn't report. Punishment? Sit in the ground (under the shade) for the whole day ^_^It was cut to half-day unfortunately :(

I was in third grade and the teacher announced that we wouldn't have class on Friday and everyone was to hand in an assignment one day early. I wasn't paying attention to that at all (I seriously suspect I have ADHD). Thursday came and I had no assignment with me. The teacher gave me an earful. Then came Friday. My mother didn't believe that we had a day off. She was furious, thinking I had misheard the teacher. She yelled at me loudly while still keeping her eyes on the road, all the way to school. The worst part was that I started to believe her and that we didn't have a day off after all. I was so scared because I hadn't done my homework.
Of course when we got there, school was closed. So even though I was crying, I felt triumphant! I was right and she was wrong. I still occasionally remind her of that event. "Mommy, remember that Friday? When I was in third grade?" :P:P
@Ishita: Oh gosh! Mine is a Convent school. So Sister, but trust me she's cruel if she wants to be :|
@fong- I sooo hate it when my parents get mad at me for no reason -_- or specially when I'm right and they're wrong about something !But it sure gives a nice bait for the future XD ^_^
PS- I love using ^_^ so much ! ^_^
@ishi- I wish mine was too. I kind of like convents. Sisters are soo cool ! And they're often very motherly, too.
Sri - Lolsss Sri, I wouldn't dare...I love you too much to threaten you ^_^And you're scary when you get mad ^_^
@fong- I'll remember that the next time ^_^@sri- LOL, maybe when I'm at where u are in my life :P
Until then, I hate this -_- :P
^_^
Was chatting in the other thread.. now am here.. planning to sleep but not really sleepy.. can't read.. that's the sad story of my life at present :)
I'll share a school story first.. We were in the 9th grade I think and there was a popular television serial that all of us used to watch. Some kind of a thriller. In that serial the killer used to kill those with a palm print on their back. So one day we all decided to use chalk and put palm prints on everyone's back in school and generally went about screaming the title tune and creating a ruckus. Of course, being really noisy, we were caught by our teacher. by then only a few of us had those palm prints and we were all marched to the princi's office. She kept asking us questions as to who did what and who started it etc but none of us said anything.. we were all silent. laughing on the inside but really scared on the outside as she was mighty strict.. She then came to me and said.. you are an intelligent girl, why then are you with these hooligans.. I couldn't help but start laughing.. i was precocious you see.. she got really angry but couldn't do anything as none of us were talking.. She punished all of us, the entire class and we had to stand in the center of the school yard for a whole session but it was worth it.. Even while standing there we were very naughty and kept laughing and making jokes.. She was really happy to see us leave school and find our ways.. She and all the teachers maintained that we were the worst of the lot ...
However, much later as I was leaving school after 10th one of the teachers told me that she was really proud with how I did not tattle about my friends... :) Nothing great but its a memory that has still stuck to me.. :)
I was in Vietnam after marriage and Shrija's birth.. She was about 3 years old when Subodh got a job there and we were living there for the last 10 months of his job period :)
Ishi - maybe everyone's tired or maybe they see me and are scared to come out :P :P After all I am a responsible elder lolsss :P :P
My class is so great (sarcasm) that when we're standing in a punishment in the corridors, the girls who were directly under the cameras(with mic) were singing songs :D
Lolss Ishi... aint that fun :) :) I still remember all the pranks we used to pull.. In fact, once we were so bad that one of our teachers complained saying that she will never teach us..
Ishita tell us about the socially awkward one! :P
