Ughh! -_-Okay, will use proper dictionary words over here! *sighs and thinks this is quiet difficult for me* :P
As my bro mentioned it to me a few days ago, Shopping means buying whereas Marketing means selling things. Like we say when a brand launches some new product, they're supposed to be marketing for it. I'm not entirely sure though!
Oh THANK YOU Ishi for explaining now I understood. But once one of my friend told me that marketing means a daily based shopping and shopping means a weekly or monthly or annually shopping! :D
I think marketing is more like advertising, rather than the actual act of selling something.
@Ishi no.. will reach around 3:30..
When used as a verb, it means advertising or promoting.

@Ishi i travel in bus when i have no other option. But today its okay, volvo bus and 2nd row.
Marketing is actually educating ur customers about the product and persuading them to buy it.Shopping is the act of buying a product. More precisely it's the transfer of ownership title from the producer to the customer.

Hey :D
Sou- correction. That's a common misconception that promoting and marketing can and/or are used interchangeably. They're two very different things.
Marketing- educating the customer about the product.
Promoting- communicating with the customer and conveying the information to them about the product.
Well I just passed 1st year Business. I think I know my concepts.Promotion, marketing, advertising, selling, purchasing are all different concepts.
"Educating customers about the product and persuading them to buy it."
that's promoting.
that's promoting.
Promoting- communicating with the customer and providing them with the all the I information they need to have about the product.Educating them about the product and persuading them is marketing.
