Erssie | 10 comments I think it was published in early 2000 s. About a boy who finds it difficult to connect and learn right from wrong, absent father, mother living with grandparents due to poverty and her chosen vowction of art. The boy does something really bad and had to have psychistric help. I remember something about his grandpas shed, and a bix of natches? Later he and his mum have to move to town, and she rents a flat in a high rise. Set in rural and urban Ireland. I think it wad a period piece, possibly eighties?. Could be contemporary. Wrtten in first person pov of boy.

Possibly The Butcher Boy? Poor boy, alcoholic father, serious juvenile delinquent, escalates into violence. First person POV.

Erssie--I've moved your thread down to Unsolved since that is where you will get the most people looking at it.
