I want to read books similar to The Spanish Groom. It was very funny, one of the best HP book. So please give me the names of some funny HP books.

JennyG | 108 comments I have just started reading The Bride Price by Ginna Gray. The beginning is hilarious and reminiscent of LG. Hero is already showing jealous & possessive tendencies.

This is not an HP but it reads like one.

So far VERY good!

Wendy, Lady Evelyn Quince (ladyevelynquince) | 39 comments Although I wasn't overwhelmed by Emma Goldrick's The Over-Mountain Man (in fact I DNFed because it was so silly), but her HPs have a reputation for being light-hearted and funny. Maybe I just read the wrong one or wasn't in the right mood to enjoy it. I have a few of her books and will give her another try; she seems to have several positive reviews.

I would concur with the Emma Goldrick recommendation. She does tend to have more humorous elements in her books.

I think Susan Napier has more of a wry sense of humor in her books.

JennyG | 108 comments You are welcome. I hope you like it. I do but I must admit I found the heroine a little bit annoying.

Blue Rabella (bluerabella) | 4 comments I remember parts of The Great Escape by Amanda Carpenter had me in stitches.
The heroine is a bit young, 17, so not sure if this will squick you out, but she's also feisty and she pulls some hilarious stuff (imo) on the hero in a battle of wits.

by Day Leclaire

Is one of my favorites. The heroine works in a toy factory and she continuously creates big messes/disaster with the hero usually walking into it and being the unassuming bystander who gets the brunt of the damage. Loved it. A lot of Declaire's books are very funny though.
