This quote signifies how most things are not as they seem to be. Some things are different than what they look like on the outside. The buildings in the war seemed normal at the first glance but when you really look into them there is flaw in the holes. At the same time there are reasons that there is flaw in them. The war itself and the fight for freedom. This is why this quote is important. Many people have this same flaw with being different on the outside and this is very true for what is in the world today.
