Lorin Oberweger (writerlor) | 4 comments Hi, all -- I'm co-author of an upcoming series with another author who already has a robust author profile. When I call up the book (Boomerang/Noelle August), it mentions my name but links only to Veronica Rossi's (my co-author) profile.

Ideally, we'd like to create a new author page for our pseudonym, but I'm not quite sure how to do that. And I'm also wondering if it's possible for my reader account to link to that name too?

Sorry if my questions are a little vague. I'm a bit new to Goodreads and still finding my way around.

Thanks in advance!
Lorin Oberweger

Lorin, do you have any books published under your name alone? And do the two of you have a shared website?

Lorin Oberweger (writerlor) | 4 comments I don't have any books published under my name (been a longtime ghostwriter and anthology contributor), but we do have a shared website: noelleaugust.com, if that helps.

Thanks for your reply!

Ok, I added the website to the author page.

The issue is as follows: a single author profile cannot be claimed by (linked to) more than one user profile. So if your co-pseudonymous author agrees, you can claim the author profile, but that means it will appear that you alone are that individual.

That is, when you read, like, rate, etc. it will show up on that profile.

Ah, anthology contributor could do the trick for creating an author page of your own. Can you link to some anthologies you are in?

Edit: Found one! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...

Lorin Oberweger (writerlor) | 4 comments So, would it make the most sense to create a new author page/account for Noelle August, our pseudonym? I don't want to claim it only for myself, necessarily.

Here's one of the anthologies I've appeared in for what it's worth: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...

Again, sorry to be slow, and thanks for the help!

Lori, you will probably want to claim the author page with your name by completing this request.

And your author page is now linked to the Noelle August page.

Also, is Rebound a sequel to Boomerang?

Probably.

Lorin Oberweger (writerlor) | 4 comments Okay, thanks! I guess my question was about how I actually do that. If I sign up for a new account, does it give me the option of making it an author account?

Again, thanks for your patience!

To sign up for a new account, you would need a different email address. Once logged in with that account, you (or your co-psuedonym author, since I assume it would be shared) would claim the Noelle August page in much the same way as with the link above. Every unclaimed author page has a link at the bottom with "Is this you? Let us know."
