I personally can't handle reading novels that are devoid of dialogue, that are just full of descriptive words, but again since the novel was written so well, you don't even notice it.

It contained all different types of things in it, from the future/or our present. The things she would get out of there were different items. Things she may have needed to use such as BC etc.. among other things.

Thank you!!!!

I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but my connection to the story is based very strongly on the way it was told, and if that were to change through a Beth/Beh novella, i fear my love for it would change as well.

I agree. This is exactly how I feel & felt while reading it. And I don't need anything to add to or take away from the story that was given. It's excellent just the way that it is.

But it's all good.. I really enjoyed it.

There is one thing that i didn't understand toward the end : why did Beh cuts her arm ??

She didn't cut her arm, I'm guessing it was birth control, the one that's inserted into your arm.

That thing she carried, with pictures, that had to be a book with the plants she could use right???

Thank you, I think so too. I had that doubt.

This is cool & heartbreaking all at the same time.

Yeah. the moment I saw it I started crying all over again.

Wow. Goosebumps.
I would like to read Beh's POV. I think it will not be boring because Ehd and Beh has a different perspective to tell. And I wanna know what's running on Beh's mind in this whole story. I wanna know more about what she thinks about Ehd. =))
The Epilogue that she had a POV on was not enough, for me it's mind-blowing. WELL DONE MS.SAVAGE!! =))

At first, I thought a novella would be sufficient but I could see a full novel which includes additional scenes and/or emphasis on different aspects.
Problem being, should Ms Savage tamper with perfection (or very close to it)? Can it compare to what has been written or what we imagine?

I think it would ruin the awesome perfection of the book in the way it was executed, if we got Beh's POV. Even though there were moments when we would have loved to be in her head as well, the fact that we weren't, didn't take away from the rawness of the story, what occurs & how Ehd tells it to us. We still felt as though we were right there with them. the emotion, confusion, all of it was very tangible with just his POV. And we could still see what Beh was thinkin & most likely feeling as well.
The epilogue we get through Beh's eyes, was more than enough for me, & helped to place her mindset throughout the novel, when thinking back on all that happened, before the epilogue.
I think it would ruin it if we essentially got the same story, but just in her POV. It wouldn't feel the same.

I've read stories from different point's of view, and I will agree they had a very different feel. Still enjoyable. In this case, the bar is set extremely high. I don't believe any follow up would taint the splendor of 'Transcendence', but it might pale in comparison. Probably best to leave it alone.
I, too, enjoyed the epilogue. It brought the story full circle and ended it on a positive note. It was kind of a prologue...placed at the end.

Yeah, they were found somewhere in Italy and they believe they belong to Romeo and Juliet.

I hate coming to this discussion because every time I think about that scene when they die I feel like I want to cry....

Your response mirror's mine, exactly. I feel emotion but rarely cry....until 'Trancendence'. The purity and beauty of their relationship moved me to tears.

For me, just imagining the conversation she had with her father is an emotional bomb. The pain both of them must have felt. Putting in dialogue to events now may skew my perspective of what had to have been said for events to play out the way they had.
I can not reread this books or accept any more to the story or it will cheapen the absolute beauty I found in this love story.

It would be so great if she put out a novella of Beh's POV. I would love to read it!

I need this book.
