Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments AnnaMarie you should definitely re-read the series and The Infernal Devices are a must! One could even argue that they are better then the original series. Although, rereading all these books makes me sad. I don't want to say goodbye! Especially with all of the teasers and snippets that Cassandra Clare has released. Its going to be a sad book I think.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Ugh very sad. But I know it will be a very good book.

message 153: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments I know it will too. I'm just really worried.

message 154: by [deleted user] (new)

Me too.

message 155: by [deleted user] (new)

YIKES! May is almost over!
Hope you all read some great books! I know I did.

Anyways theme for JUNE........SERIES! Start with book 1 and try to finish the rest (the whole series if out or up to the current book)

message 156: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie May was CRAZY and here it is only a day away from June - EEEPS! All done with Girls on the Run coaching, and less than a week to go before all 4 kiddos are done with school. Can't wait to get to the lazy days of summer and back at reading until the wee hours of the morning! :)

Series theme for June sounds GREAT Lindsey - thanks! :)

message 157: by [deleted user] (new)

I will be posting our May books later tonight when I get home. WOW!!! Already on our 5th month!!!

How are we all doing? Reading some good books?

message 158: by [deleted user] (new)

YIKES!! can you believe it's already July!!

So I will post our June books soon!!

message 159: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie Lindsey thank you for all your hard work and effort! :)

How is July going for everyone? :)

message 160: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments Can't believe July went by so fast!

message 161: by [deleted user] (new)

I know!! I just realized I need to post the books for July!! Hope you all read some great books!!

message 162: by [deleted user] (new)

Yikes! So we have to determine one person to switch groups! We have 48 hours.

message 163: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie I'm sad that someone has to switch groups. :( How will we decide??

message 164: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm sad too. I don't know.

message 165: by [deleted user] (new)

Any ideas?

message 166: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie As the Team Leader, you should definitely stay. I just don't know how to decide who will go from the other 3...

message 167: by [deleted user] (new)

We could do a drawing or something?

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Remeber what I said, you may have a chance to get your team member back!!! I am just doing a little mixing! :) sorry. I have a challenge where you may be able to get your team mate back.

message 169: by [deleted user] (new)

We understand. It's going to mix it all up.

message 170: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments If no one else wants to go, I'll do it. I'll miss you awesome guys but someone has to go, so I'll volunteer and that way we don't have to pick.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Thoughts about the switch? Please be honest.

message 172: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments I think it is an interesting way to switch things up.

message 173: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie It is definitely a twist which switches things up, but I think it would feel weird to be the "odd man out" coming into another group which has an already existing camaraderie, if that makes sense?

message 174: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie I really enjoy our group - we have an easy ebb and flow here, and understand the phases of when life gets busy. :)

But I can appreciate Jackie that you are just looking to keep things challenging and interesting and refreshing...and I am also appreciative of this entire challenge and how it has motivated my reading!! :)

message 175: by [deleted user] (new)

AnnaMarie you put it perfectly.

message 176: by [deleted user] (new)

Going to post our July books later today when I get home!

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Thank you! I really appreciate you guy's honesty, we will just stick to challenges throughout the rest of this year. Is that okay with everyone?

message 178: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm fine with that!!

message 179: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments Sounds good to me!

message 180: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments So what is everyone going to read for the paranormal challenge? I think I am going to read Nightshade (Nightshade, #1) by Andrea Cremer . Has anyone read it?

message 181: by [deleted user] (new)

I have not read that but I'm thinking of reading Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake

message 182: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments LINDSEY THAT BOOK IS AMAZING!!!!

message 183: by [deleted user] (new)

I have it from the library for a book pool challenge so that's most likely going to be the one for me. Might start it tonight when I get home from dinner.

message 184: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments It is really good, at least in my opinion. I actually almost bought the second one when I went to the bookstore today but I ended up changing my mind. The ending is a bit of a cliffhanger though so be warned.

message 185: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay. Maybe I will pick the second one up from the library tomorrow.

message 186: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments Might be a good idea.

message 187: by [deleted user] (new)

I just checked. They have it. So I will get it tomorrow.

message 188: by [deleted user] (new)

July books are up and posted

Good job everyone!!

message 189: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie Happy dance!! Thank you Jackie!! :)

message 190: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie So when do we need to have the YA paranormal book read by?

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Week 2: Romance: Read a book where the main characters fall in love, and they have a happy ending. The book MUST be at least 100 pages long. Rereads are not allowed. Your book can be YA or NA.

Please make sure your book is read by Sunday 3pm your time.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Back to school. - The main character has to be going back to school, or starting at a new school/ college.

message 193: by [deleted user] (new)

I will post my the last two I read later tonight when I get home or early morning.

message 194: by Amanda (new)

Sounds interesting. I need to go digging through my TBR list. XD

message 195: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie I'm confused as to where we should be posting the books we read for the weekly challenges - here in this thread?

message 197: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry I have been absent guys. Getting ready to get back to school. School and my internship starts Monday!! Fun!! Actually I'm excited. Last month for my special education early childhood credential before moving onto my second one. Anyways I have been getting ready, studying for the CSET, and working as a nanny. Been busy.

But I have been able to read some great books this month so far.

How are you guys doing?

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Week 4: Anything Goes - You can read whatever you would like, as long as it is YA or NA.

message 199: by [deleted user] (new)

So for last month for each week books to be read I read the following.

Week one - Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake
Week two - read some with romance but none with no happy ending. :(
Week three - Liv, Forever by Amy Talkington
Week four - The Death Cure (Maze Runner, #3) by James Dashner

As for our August books we all read I will be posting them sometime today!! And sending them to Jackie.

Hope you all are reading some great books.

message 200: by [deleted user] (new)
