SOLVED. Children's book about spiders [s]

I remember reading a novel years back that was a children's book about a group of spiders. They were some type of tarantula from the best of my memory that were supposed to be extinct, but had been frozen then thawed out somehow. I remember one scene of the book where one was hiding behind a classroom projector screen while all the children were watching The Wizard of Oz.
