The Arabian Nights
question
Books Set in the Ancient Middle East

I love books that are set in the desert with sultans and sheikhs, but am having a hard time finding anything outside of the Arabian Nights. If anyone has any suggestions for Young Adult books that fit this genre, it would be much appreciated!!

Well, I too had that interest Annie.
Go for "Hadassah: One Night with the King"

However, it was later set into a series of two books, but this one is nice. Later one was just have the same character name. That's it.
I hope You like it. I liked it. :)
Well if you have any suggestion for me on Historical Fiction, Suggest me.

Well, in Noah Gordon's novel, The Physician, a young English lad, after being apprenticed to a itinerant herbal remedies peddler, decides to seek a medical education, which sends him to ancient Persia where the great medical "guru" resides. Disguised as a Jew, because as a Christian infidel he would be verboten, he undertakes the journey to this remote Islamic place. He hopes to secure the tutelage of the great medical "guru" of whom he was told by a Jewish physician in England. Most of the latter part of the book is about his adventures there.
