Loved that it's "set" in modern day but we visit the past and it's still fantasy. Loved the photographs and how they inspired Mr Ransom to write the story. :D Good Read.

Raven | 172 comments I just finished Existence and I've got to say it was pretty cute. I mean other than the names of all the important characters were ridiculous (Pagan, Lief and Dank? Really? Dank?) the story was cute and "awww" worthy at times and it made me laugh.

Ill have to agree with this. I was so looking forward to it but it kind of turned out to be a discount TFIOS and...not in a good way :/ I thought the characters weren't very good (hello its literally titled "me, Earl and the dying girl" and the 'dying girl' played such a small part. wth?)

However plus side (always find a bright spot mi amigos!) is that I actually really liked how the dialogue was put into the book. I thought it was a neat way to really tie in the one thing Greg really liked doing so ya
Also one of my favourite lines I've read in a long time was in this book so yay?

I think it was a solid book and I liked the way it was written, wish it had a bit more of "Alice's" perspective in it though!

I agree that The Truth About Alice by Jennifer Mathieu was a well written book. I also rated it 4 stars :) and yes, a few more chapters told from Alice's POVS would have been perfect!

Sometimes I think it's good to be late to the party - then you don't have to wait for the subsequent books - they're already out!!!!
