Sorry. I meant to come back when I realized I didn't set a time. As we say in my family, I got squirreled (from the movie Up).
This challenge will go retro to the beginning of summer.
June 21, 2015 - September 23, 2015.

Love the challenge! And PS--a bit of backstory on the cover for Secret Garden: Molly (the golden retriever on the cover) was named for my real-life neighbor's pet. She has a fairly substantial role in the series.Secret Garden
You do think up the most challenging challenges! My favourite breed of dog is a cockerpoo, as my daughter has one which she lets me borrow sometimes to take for walks (well, I have to keep a bit fit somehow). Now I've got to think of 9 different books....2 beginning with "O".
I have Australian Sheperds and also love Border Collies. Which i had before. I will start with Australian Sheperds. I just read Night Watch by Valerie Hansen and there are two Border Collies in the book.
Cathryn, I love it when an animal has a role in the story. It gives every thing a special tweek. Now I'm even happier I picked it for my example.
Annie, I had a cookerpoo named Ginger when I was growing up. They are a perfect dog for a family.
Pam, I love shepards but they were to big for our small yard. I'm sure my brother would have loved a shepard over the cookerpoo. :)

ooh, clever! If you put the "The" in brackets, it gives a lot more scope. I must confess I'm struggling with the letters of Cockapoo...
No, it's no use - even by omitting a "The" I can't find any books starting with O. Not a total fail with this challenge though, as I have found a book with a dog on the cover!C - Creature Comforts by Trisha Ashley (has a dog on the cover)
O
C - Copper King by Vivian Arend

Outlawed! by B.J. DanielsThere are more from Harlequin's July, August and September releases. Don't give up, you still have plenty of time to find one or two to fill your list in more. :) Great starst though!

I have the other books for missing letters. I prefer to post as I complete them. This is what fit for books I have read so far. I tend to change my mind or mood so the book list may not stay the same. These challenges are fun thanks for thinking them up.
My very favorite book of ALL TIME is "Olivia and Jai" by Rebecca Ryman. I highly recommend reading it for its own merits and for its prime "O" usage. :-) "Overseas" by Beatriz Williams is also an excellent and high concept romance.

Sometimes I need a challenge to help me pick something off from my tbr bookcase (to many good ones) or just to help me find a new-to-me author. I've discovered some of my favorite auto-buy authors from tricky challenges and hope that happens for someone here. :) ~ Kim
