I read this weird book a couple of years ago(2013-2014). The main character is a girl, she can talk to ocean creatures, and her mom works at some place where they study marine animals, but she was kidnapped. Her dad is some kind of professor, and they have a maid.She has two brothers, one older and one younger. The older one likes to shut himself in his room and listen to music. The younger one is some kind of genius. They live in a coastal town, I believe on some sort of peninsula. There are also some weird fire people. There was supposed to be a new book out soon. Also, I am pretty sure the author was a woman. I know this description is very vague, but can you help me?
