Comments/questions/discussions for VOLUME 2 (chapters 19-36) go here! Please avoid any spoilers for the third portion of the book.

How's the plot progressing? What do you think is going to happen? Do you still have the same opinions of the characters?

April Sarah | 4 comments It makes me laugh(and groan) at how clueless Emma is about her own feelings.

Ooo, did you see what I just did there... clueless... okay I'll stop now.

I know, but clueless is such the perfect word to describe Emma (and is probably why they named the movie that!)

J. (jellybeanlegs) Is it just me or did someone else get the impression that Frank is the one who sent the pianoforte to Miss Fairfax that day he got to London "just to cut his hair"? But then he seems to like Emma. I am confused. Maria is so confused she stunned herself

So true, and a bit brilliant on their part.

Caitlin (bookchats) | 3 comments I can't decide (even now having finished the book) if I like Frank Churchill or not. Anyone else feeling like their opinion of him is pretty fluid?

Yes absolutely! One minute I really like him, the next I don't!
