I am sorry, you are right. WE don't have that task anymore. Never mind. It still counts and I don't believe you need a review

You don't need to review it. Just mark it as read and add it to your shelf. (Except if there happens to be a goal that states you need to review something, that would overrule it :P)

Ezi Chinny (ezinwanyi) I pm'd Sonia and Tea for our new task. I will just read whatever.

*grumbling*

How dare they sleep on the job? I demand to speak to their superiors right now.
Heads will roll for this.

BTW...am I the only one sad Gwen Stefani I'd getting divorced from Gavin Rossdale? That's too bad, I liked them together just like Jenn Garner and Ben Affleck

Renee (reneeconoulty) | 3309 comments That's cool, it is a bit frustrating with me being in a different timezone to the rest of the team though. It should all even out in a couple of weeks when we merge with another team.

Renee (reneeconoulty) | 3309 comments Maybe I should go on vacation for the next two weeks and come and stay at your place Ezi. An online reading challenge is a legitimate reason for an international holiday, don't you think?

You are welcome to chill with me in Texsa. I'm watching Spartacus Vengence whole trying to decide between Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent or Magic Shifts (Kate Daniels, #8) by Ilona Andrews for tomorrow

I'll update when I can now that I have access.we can tag team the spreadsheet

One of my Goodreads friends loved Stray. She had difficulty putting it down. I think she ended up reading all of it in one day.

Holli | 397 comments I just sent Old Man's War back to Amazon Kindle for a refund. Funny as a lot of it was, it was practically all info dump and I quit at 30%. So, I'm off to my physical and virtual shelves for a different book. Wish me luck!

How dare you sleep? (*these Europeans---getting out line thinking they are allowed to sleep)

message 122: by Ezi (new)

Ezi Chinny (ezinwanyi) I'm reading Make Me, Sir (Masters of the Shadowlands, #5) by Cherise Sinclair with Master Zachary. Should be done today.
I have Fat Chance by Nick Spalding with Leek...but I'm listening to Kate Daniels first, ok?

I haven't looked at my starter plan for a Canadian book, but if someone else has one, go for it.

message 123: by Berit☀️✨ (new)

Berit☀️✨ (berittalksbooks) Good morning! Yes I must confess we sleep in the US as well, going to finish up my book this morning, then I'll take a little look if I have a book that takes place in Canada :-) I didn't know they were getting divorced, that is a bummer! I haven't really paid attention to much news wise this summer, but my kids go back to school next Thursday so back to a life of normalcy, unfortunately ;-)

I've been meaning to reread this for years. Hopefully the narrator I chose is ok (I picked the fastest reader :) there was over an hour difference between them)

I've listened to a few books from Librivox. They can be a little bit of a mixed bag at times (some of the readers sound underwater or coming out of a tin can), but I like that they are free and I can usually find what I'm looking for among the public domain books. :)

I enjoyed this one. It's an anthology of chick lit short stories all around the April Fools theme. There was even a character whose first name starts with X, if that comes up later, and it's currently free! http://amzn.to/1SM6Jvf

Ezi Chinny (ezinwanyi) Make Me, Sir (Masters of the Shadowlands, #5) by Cherise Sinclair
Book: Make Me, Sir by Cherise Sinclair (352 pages)
Task: character's first name starts with "Z" (Zachary)
Finished: August 5
Rating & Review: ★★★★. This isn't necessarily my favorite Shadowlands book/couple, but it was the best written book in the series. The plot was strong enough to withstand the sex scenes.
Gabrielle Renard, a social worker helping the FBI on a case, came to the Shadowlands to smoke out a human trafficking operation. Master Zachary "Z" assigned Master Dom Marcus Atherton to train her and thus began their journey to self discovery on both sides.
