Team Spreadsheet
- Once all columns of a goal have been filled out a new goal will appear within 5 minutes.
- Do not change existing pages. You may add a new page to your spreadsheet if you want to track additional information.
- Mark books as used in your books list once they are used for a goal.
- Only books read during the current round may be applied towards goals, once the round has ended those books may no longer be used for a goal.
- Once you merge teams, you may use your books for your partner teams goals. List them in your books list and on their goals sheet. Mark them as used.
- If you end up with more than 3 open goals, contact a moderator for help.
Okay, I'm going to have to watch more of Spartacus now. (note to self, find your Spartacus DVDs and watch them)Hi all! I look forward to the fun.
Ezi, I think you need to cheer up a bit. ;-)
Not going to lie, I have no idea about any of the gladiators, but I guess I should learn ;-) I guess we have a good one!
She became Spartacus love after Sura (Spartacus' wife) was taken from him by Prietor Glabar and sold into slavery separated from his loving arms. Mira was the slave girl who gave comfort and balmed his heart while aiding him in freeing the slaves from Bartiatus' Ludus.
It is on Nexflix :D
Thanks, Ezi! I added it to My List on Netflix as a "just in case." I found all but the first season of the show in the mishmash that is my movie and series collection. Not a good thing when one has only seen the first couple of eps. I think the rest of my DVDs and Blu-Rays ate it. Although, my library has it for borrowing also. May have to partake. :)My Shelf: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
The master spreadsheet and team spreadsheet has been added to the beginning of your team thread.
Captains and co-captains should message the moderator account with their team name and google doc e-mail to be added to the approved editors of the team spreadsheet.

Ezinwanyi~the Impish Angel wrote: "Who are we playing and what's the criteria?"If you look at your team spreadsheet you'll be able to see what your first 3 goals are.
These will automatically get replenished as you complete them. (And there's quite a list of potential goals).
This first round you'll fight all the other teams. Then you start getting paired up.
In case you can't get to the spreadsheet right now. You're starting goals are:Read a book that contains the word watermelon
Read a book that starts with the letter B
Read a book where a character's first name starts with the letter S
On the challenge for a book that starts with B, can the letter be anywhere in the title as a first letter? Like Night Bites?
Just to clarify, at this moment, we don't have an exact start time. The mods are working on that and it will be up soon. You can only count books that were started after the challenge begins, so any books you are currently reading won't count. Minimum page count 160 pages.

*wipes tears*
I'm so glad you are happy. I was scared for a little bit.
Ezinwanyi~the Impish Angel wrote: "Question. Can I start the book today and finish tomorrow or must it be started Aug 1"Only when the challenge starts, that is August 2 :)
Sonia wrote: "Sorry.. I am doing a lot of things at once. Only books started & during challenge count."Thanks, I was about to begin
which meets the requirements. So I'll put it back on my TBR
So I'm thinking this is going to be a bit confusing with 5 of us reading books and only 3 open goals at a time. How are we going to work it - first person finished that meets a goal claims it or are we claiming goals before we start the book (which might be difficult for ones like find the word in the text)?
Also from how I'm reading it, if they put up another goal and somebody has already read a book that fits that goal during that specific time period, it can cross off that goal, then adding another goal. So my opinion is it should be first come first serve on whoever finishes the Goal book 1st, does that make sense? :-)
I've got two books so far that will meet challenge goals. Working on finding one that will meet the third so I can cover all of them. And get out of the hole I'm continually falling into on my Goodreads goal for the year.If anyone else is reading the Series of Unfortunate Events books, The Vile Village has watermelon in the text.
Ezinwanyi~the Impish Angel wrote: "why can't we all read books and amass as many points as possible?"You can. That's how attack points are won.
Ezinwanyi~the Impish Angel wrote: "why can't we all read books and amass as many points as possible?"Just depends on the strategy each team wants to use. Having super high attack and low or no defense is a valid strategy.
That's what I'm thinking, read as much as possible, then hope they fit into some kind of task at some point :-)
Berit wrote: "Every book we read counts, correct? As long as it meets page count requirements :-)"Yes.
I have:
"watermelon" in text
main character first name begins with S
Still working on a book that starts with B; I have several options.

I have
on audio too but I have about 6 books with "B" titles.
According to this clock, I can start in 2 and half hours and I will begin with
MC: Sarah.https://countingdownto.com/countdown/...
Same here on time, Ezi. Food and errands first, then will start on which book that answers one of the challenges bounces by first. :)
I am going to game night and will be back.@Renee: I am not sure if you have your own system, but the other captains reserved a bunch of spaces to keep track of stuff, and I don't see where you have linked the bookshelves of the members.
I also noticed captains have "checked in" on the other thread but you haven't.
I just want to make sure you are ready as the game starts in a couple of hours.
Alright I am off:D
I'm in the middle of Amazing Race today, so my first book will not fit any of the tasks, maybe a later task ;-)
Berit wrote: "I'm in the middle of Amazing Race today, so my first book will not fit any of the tasks, maybe a later task ;-)"Remember that you have to start books after the start of the challenge for them to count.
Hey Everyone I'll go back and edit my first two posts to keep track of all our stuff.
I think first book finished that fits will work the best. We don't need everyone to start a book beginning with B because add soon as the first person finished it we will get a new goal. I think watermelon is a harder one to find so go for that book first. I'll read add much as I can and see where it fits.
I had a Sunday morning sleep in down here in Australia, so I'm still catching up.
Everyone's always ahead of me, I'm on Pacific time. I agree on the first come first serve on whoever finishes the book, because after the task is completed we get another task, am I understanding that correctly? My first few books probably won't fit any tasks unless by pure luck :-)
Book: Beauty Dates the Beast by Jessica Sims
Finished: August 2
Task: Title "B" and Character "S"
Rating & Review: ★★★★.
Bathesheba and her sister Sarah work at Midnight Liaisons dating service which services the Supernaturals dating needs. When a client is stood up, Bathesheba has to fill in or risk the wrath of a very important client. In addition, Bathesheba couldn't anger her boss Giselle who was blackmailing her with information pertaining to Sarah, which would compromise Sarah's safety. What's Bathesheba to do when she's being pulled in so many directions?
I enjoyed this story. It wasn't too heavy and it wasn't overloaded with sex. Sheba and Beau were cute. Beau was consistent, loyal and sexy. He was a good shifter leader and he added integrity to the clan. I'm not sure why this is a retelling because Beau was handsome, rich and powerful. But it's supposed to be a Beauty and the Beast retelling.
