yeah, but it might not make any sense without the rest of the series. the first series (or first half, depends on how you categorize it) is better than the second half. sae is honestly at her peak a the beginning, and in the second half, she's just a ball of mess. then there's momo, she seems like she just bounces between boys there at the end. then no one talks about their feelings while they are dating momo in regards to breaking up. geez! speak your mind, then maybe you wouldn't have to try to pick up the pieces after she finally makes a choice.
well, you just feel bad for toji. i mean, he's rebound boy. he gave up being with momo to protect her from sae's evil deeds. i still think he went about it in the wrong way, but he was somewhat noble. i do agree, kylie was the best choice.
it was really cute that he just couldn't throw momo away, quite literally with the cellphone case. though, the end is when i like momo the least. i mean, how could she not go to any one of her friends if she honestly thought they were going to kill themselves. it wasn't exactly a fair test.
yeah, she thought he was going to become "fish food." no real friend would ignore that message if they felt that there was some truth to it. but i agree, her time with toji had past and she wasn't getting the hint.
i guess. she really changed after falling in love with kylie's brother. she was completely different after that.
true. oh well. almost makes me want to read sae's story. but then i remember that peach girl was almost too much drama, and that notion typically flies out the window.
i used to watch lots of soaps. all my children, one life to live, and general hospital. i haven't followed them in years though. they have probably changed most of the actors by now, so i would have a difficult time figuring out who is who
exactly! it said something like 'nick so-and-so is now being played by actor blankety-blank.' it was so funny! they had to age the person like 10 years to make a relationship not seem like a 20-30 yr age difference.
they have a discounted set at half price books that i eye, but haven't purchased it yet. i've heard it's better than peach girl.
i figured as much. you know with the back saying about a good girl/bad boy deal. though i disliked that aspect in "kare first love." i pretty much stopped reading it after what's-his-face started pressuring karin to have sex. i felt he was a jerk and she should more on. but whatever.
is mars better than that?
is mars better than that?
huh. is it something you would recommend? it sounds a little dramatic to me. like peach girl or hot gimmick
hot gimmick is pratically a replica of peach girl. you just have to mix up the characters a bit. when it stops being peach girl, it becomes boys over flowers. lol.
ooh. it does sound fun. this isn't some forbidden love right? such as a love between student and teacher. totally try to read a manga with that senerio, and couldn't do it. it had me cringing with every turn of the page. the actions being described went against all of the teacher training i had received, and just couldn't take how the situations were being played out.
my sister thinks that i don't like the blue ppl b/c it's popular. no, i just hate how scummy people are in that film. it doesn't help that i'm a history major, and i automatically parallel it with real events.
i can see how she made that jump. i never wanted to see titantic despite me loving romance movies, i saw twilight and hated every single second of it (the first one and the second one), and i dislike the potter series. the movie isn't bad, but i'm just not that into the movies either

I would say the cartoon as well. I was a Potter nerd too once!! Twilight is fun to make fun of!
What I didn't like about the blue ppl avatar movie was the romance! It bothered me for some reason...

ya, i do know. But in that one, it was just weird to me.. probably cuz they aren't even the same species
well, the whole avatar notion was suppose to have been based off of indian mythology, and i've heard that there are many parallels to it. i'm not familiar enough to make the connections myself though.
you probably felt bad b/c everyone was scum in the movie. scum i say, scum!
i didn't mind the human x 10ft cat people love deal, but what about all the nudity and bestiality?! yeah, that's right, bestiality! how was this movie only pg-13?!

Now I'm just ranting. What's wrong with people?! CLAMP is the best mangaka there is!!!
(By the way, CLAMP is having another Festival this year in October)

Yeah, well... You can always find me on mangafox, explaining the complexity of TRC to people who are completely confused. Also you can find the most up-to-date on clamp-now.livejournal.com. And I'm always posting their artwork on Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/crazywuzhere/cla...).
But you're right. This place is as dead as a doornail...
Oo cool!
Yeah.. I don't know where my other mods went. They're usually around for a conversation.

Yeah, I stopped going around a lot of discussions. Between school, my family driving me insane, my life blowing up, and trying to keep myself together enough for work; there wasn't much outside of that I could handle. The last time I updated anything Kobato was just released.

Anyway- I didn't get very far into Tsuabsa. But it's not surprising that people don't understand its complexities. I found that I was the only one reading complexities into Inuyasha (though that's clearly not CLAMP), and of the few that read any in Chobits.

Mine would have to be TRC and HOLiC"
But I have to agree, they do scream CLAMP

I love Tsubasa! And it's correlations with XXXHolic are awesome! When you say complexities, what do you mean? Do people find the plot confusing, or are they just missing details?
I NEED to read Chobits, still!

Holic isn't very straight forward, which can be difficult for some to get into. Holic intentionally leaves an air of mystique around its plot and characters.
I love that! Does it end with the same mystique? I guess I've always assumed it would fill in the holes in the end, or that Tsubasa would tie it all up.
I don't know how it ends. I would assume that it will wrap up in classic CLAMP style, elegantly sad.
