several of her books (different editions, same book) are double listed because of this. Any idea how to combine authors and list the different editions as diff editions and not different books?

Yes changing the author of all the books works, but it is not as clean. Luckily it looks like there are no fans.

There is nothing wrong with moving the books. It is often done if there are only a few books and no other things on the wrong profile.

The first one is the correct one. I tried to change the name on the profile that should be discarded with the name "James A. Moore" but I get the error message: "Sorry, this author is on Goodreads and is responsible for editing their own data. If you see a typo or other error, then you may want to report it in the Goodreads Librarians Group."

Combined three books. However, I didn't change the editions as the books have different formats. Hardcover was released in Jan 2013, e-book version in Feb 2013, and the paperback in Aug 2014.

We do not combine author profiles in different languages. Doing so can undo many hours of other librarians' work.

Hi! I have an issue and I'm not quite sure how to handle it. I'm hoping you can help or at least point me in the right direction of who to contact.

My name is Michelle and I'm an author: Michelle K. Pickett I've been on Goodreads for quite some time now. I can verify my books through Amazon: http://amzn.to/2nVEHjW or through my publishers, if needed.

The problem is this author: Michelle PIckett She is not only using my name, but has claimed two of my books as her own. Milayna and The Innocent. Further, when she represents that she is the author of my books, she is also associating my name with books I didn't write, and would not have written.

I have not initiated contact with the user. I wanted to find out Goodreads policies on handling these types of cases before I did.

187 Your books were on the other profile because they were imported from an other source without your middle initial. I moved the editions to your profile.
The other profile is not claimed, so there is not someone actually claiming your books. If books are on the wrong profile it is most of the time caused by automatic imports.
