So this will be my first Tom Clancy/Jack Ryan novel. I've only seen the latest Jack Ryan movie (Chris Pine) so I only know that he's a cool top secret CIA type guy. Hopefully I won't be really confused starting with the 5th book in the Jack Ryan series, any Tom Clancy fans that can verify that?
