Rachael | 94 comments New to this - and just thought that I would get started so have read one book but .. its NOT autumn until Saturday. This is a personal challenge (yes?) so nobody else is bothered I take it .. or do I have to choose a replacement book!?

message 109: by Zoey (new)

Zoey (rozannen) | 1045 comments Well, the challenge is to read the books you've chosen during Autumn (1st March to 31st May) so you have got a bit of a headstart on the rest of us :)

message 110: by Rachael (new)

Rachael | 94 comments Hmmm ... I will have to see if I can fit next month's bookclub book into the challenge categories somewhere to replace my one that I have already read :)

Yes, as Zoey says, the challenge is for Autumn and as we are still in Summer, it wouldn't count for the Autumn challenge:) Sorry Rachael!

Haha! Bec I have my first one chosen - Safe Harbour by Helene Young - I've been hanging out for this one for awhile!!

message 116: by Bec (new)

Bec (gecko-girl) | 281 comments Ooh I have that on my list too Brenda, What to pick??? Was thinking of reading them in order but Safe Harbour is down near the bottom :( Maybe i'll use that Random app thing - which challenge did you have the link to it?

Choosing what to read first will be hard. I have Dust (Silo 3) by Hugh Howey and The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris by Jenny Colgan both sitting on my coffee table calling to me - maybe I need a toss of Brenda's lucky coin?

message 121: by Bec (last edited Feb 27, 2014 12:42AM) (new)

Bec (gecko-girl) | 281 comments Found the link - Random doesn't quiet work for this (too many duplicates) but at the bottom there is an option for sequence so this will be the order I am going to read in:
1
9
3
5
11
7
6
8
2
10
13
12
4
saves me feeling guilty over who I chose first lol and I get to read Safe Harbour 2nd!!

Excellent! Thank you Brenda!

Maybe you need to incorporate an automatic coin tosser into GR to save you from this onerous duty:)

Mine has to be Anzac Biscuits which is a picture book. It is a library book picked especially for the challenge and is due back. Grandson is coming over on the weekend so will read it to him :)

Then I can make a start on the "grown-up" books :)

Great idea Bec to use the randomiser (didn't see it until you pointed it out), I've done the same and will be reading one of my TBR England, England by Julian Barnes
