Rachmi | 4882 comments I chose no. 10 for our third title. I hope you guys don't mind I chose it without asking you first. But if you mind, just tell me and I won't do it again for our next titles :)

message 53: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't mind at all. I think whoever sees it first just request a number.

Thanks Lindsey, and it's the same for me. If you see it first just choose whatever number you want :)

I enjoy the hangman but than also don't cause I usually end up adding so many books to my tbr list and the same with the non-reading challenge. Always add the ones I find. Too many great books.

message 56: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Haha, I have the similar feeling for the hangman. I like it because it makes me guess but then I don't quite like it because with English is not my native language, I have to think it twice than just guess the title and the author. Before I guess the title it's all only a bunch or words for me.

I didn't join in the non-reading challenge, though. I joined that challenge last year and I ended up spend more time to figure it out, than reading the books, lol.

message 57: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments So third title is already up, with a very long title. Only one word but with 19 letters! I don't think there's a word with 19 letters. It might be a place or else.

Should we add all of three letters we have or just use one letter? what do you think?

message 58: by [deleted user] (new)

I think because of last year each round now is for 48 hours rather than the 24 which is good. I try to take them slow. So today I found 3 in the morning than went along my day and got back to it at night and found the other two in 15 minutes.

message 59: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments You surely are better than what I did :)

Btw, do you know a title with 19 letters word? I looked up at this words website but it seems the words there aren't good for a book title.

message 60: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 04, 2015 04:09AM) (new)

I did that too and also looked up one word titles but I can't find any 19 letters long :( Roboapocalypse was the longest I found with 14 letters.

I think we should add some of the reserved letters

message 61: by [deleted user] (new)

I tried even looking at ha authors with a first name having only 3 letters and nothing.

message 62: by [deleted user] (new)

It's so hot! It's 90 degrees F with a humidity of 35%. Luckily I was able to spend the morning inside with the kid i watch. We saw Penguijs of Madagascar for $1 per ticket this morning. A great deal. It was full of kids. But still fun. Now the kids are napping and I'm ready to read for a bit.

message 63: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments It's so hot in here too! It's 30 degrees Celsius, around 86 degree Fahrenheit, I think. And it's still in the morning now, I cannot imagine how hot it will be in the afternoon.

I haven't watched Penguin of Madagascar yet. I wanted to bring my three-years-old nephew to watch it but his mom, my sister, didn't allow me to bring him. She worried that he won't comfortable in the theater since he never watches movies in a movie theater. It's already night in your place, right Lindsey? Do you manage to read again? I just finished my third book. And will post my review later.

I still have no idea what our second title, though. So I ask Abbie to add O from Lilith's review. I hope it helps us to figure it out.

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

It's 80F at the moment and it's almost 9pm.

I read a little than the kid I was watching would not sleep so I ended up laying down with him in his bed and we both just took a nap.

I'm showering than staying up late to read since I don't get the kids until after their nap tomorrow. So it's a late night for me of reading. Going to make some tea, put my phone away and put a movie on I have seen and read.

I took a 3 year old to see the movie and I also went with his aunt who has a 3 year old girl and 2 year old boy. It was a movie just for kids (it was only a 1). They got up a few times but thy watch movies at home so are used to sitting and watching. It was cute. My first time seeing it.

message 65: by [deleted user] (new)

Our second title is bugging me.

The problem is my nephew isn't comfortable being in the dark. He gets scare because of it, so his mom thinks he will throw tantrum if I bring him to the movie theater. But I thought how can we know if we don't bring him, right? I mean if he isn't comfortable we can just go outside and don't watch the movie.

I thought me being in tropical country will have hotter weather and humidity, but it seems it a bit worse where you live. 80F at 9pm is like in the evening here.

Rachmi | 4882 comments Lindsey wrote: "Our second title is bugging me."

Me too! I still couldn't figure it out. Could it be the name of the place? Because as far as I search on the internet, there aren't 19 letters words that are suitable for a book title.

Yay. I say just try it. Take him it a early movie during the week and just give it a test.

California bits at the moment. It's dropping now. But we can get up to the 100s during the day and 90s/80s at night. We had 113 once and our air broke. It was hit.

My goodness! I don't think I've ever been in a place with 113F (around 45C for me) before. A couple months ago, India had the worst weather, most of the days in the afternoon were around 122F and it caused hundreds people died. Our weather board predicted that we will have worse weather in September-November, but I really hope we won't be like in India because I just cannot imagine how hot it will be.

message 70: by [deleted user] (new)

I need it to be cold and lots of rain cause California needs a lot of rain at the moment. I'm done with the near but it's all we get these days.

message 71: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments OMG, even after we add 3 letters I still couldn't figure the title out @.@

message 72: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments And now I'm looking at the baby names website to search names with 3 letters with O as the second letter. This is frustrating but also made me want to laugh :D

message 73: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm the same. Looking at 3 lettered names with an o in the middle. Driving me crazy.

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

OMG! This is IMPOSSIIBLE! I've looked and looked and I have found nothing! Nada! Non! Zero! How frustrating!

message 75: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments You still have the K and E on hold if you wanted to use those, and Adriana can guess one if these letters - S, H, A, T, Y, R, C, K, J.

message 76: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 05, 2015 10:16AM) (new)

I'm half-way through City of Bones and will probs have it finished by tonight. I'm guessing C and S for it

@Abbie, haven't we already guessed R and A?

message 77: by [deleted user] (new)

I just requested the E

message 78: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Our third title drives me crazy! I do think it's a character's name or a place name, though. I kind of need the first letter, maybe once we get first letter, of the title or the author's name, we can guess it.

message 79: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm ready to scream cause this title is driving me crazy. I feel like I should know it.

message 80: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments This is so frustrating!

message 81: by [deleted user] (new)

It is. I hoping to have one maybe two books for review in the next couple hours or late into the night.

message 82: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments I'm half through my forth book but I don't think I can finish it today as I'm at the office now. Maybe tomorrow morning I can post my review.

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm about to eat dinner than put the Maze Runner on and read the rest of the night.

message 84: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments So I'm trying to search based on the first name of the author, in Goodreads. I come up with Joy, Rob and Tom. I've searched 11 pages for Joy, 5 pages for Tom and 6 pages for Rob. No result so far. Should I keep searching on those name or should I stop and move on to other name? is the question :)

message 85: by [deleted user] (new)

It's up to you. I searched several of the pages for single word titles and nothing.

message 86: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Lindsey wrote: "It's up to you. I searched several of the pages for single word titles and nothing."

I did it yesterday for 7 pages, I think. I even searched for weird title and also long title!

message 87: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey guys, Abbie is offering us a free letter, which should we choose?

Also, I've finished my 3rd book, just need to write a review for it

message 88: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments I honestly don't know which letter we should choose. But I did search on (possible) title that starts with C, F, M, N, and I think a few letters more but I didn't remember which ones as I searched through pages in Goodreads listopia. I don't know whether I missed it somehow or it really isn't on that list.

I'm not helping, am I? I tend to think to choose either S or R, though. But lets see what you guys think :D

message 89: by [deleted user] (new)

I was thinking T or S? Those look like maybe first title letters or first name letters

So we know the author is not bob? Than there is Tom or Joy. So maybe a J?

I don't know. It's driving me crazy.

message 90: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey, I just guessed C and T should I ask to add the S for the bonus thing?

message 91: by [deleted user] (new)

Let's see where the C and S take use before we use the bonus letter

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

I think I found it. I'm in the car. But look up the author Tom Leveen. I think that's the author. I saw a long book title under his name.

message 93: by [deleted user] (new)

I just added it to my tbr list if you want to look there

message 94: by [deleted user] (new)

Manicpixiedreamgirl is the title, it fits

message 95: by [deleted user] (new)

That's what I thought. yay!! We got it!!! Now I feel like I need to read the damn book.

message 96: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 06, 2015 09:42AM) (new)

YAY!! Finally done with that! Well done Lindsey! And I know the feeling, I wonder if my library has it XD

message 97: by [deleted user] (new)

Mine does not have it. But I might see if one of the other digital libraries have it

message 98: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Yay, finally we can say goodbye with third title! lol

Now I was wondering if I keep searching for Tom and M title in listopia, we could find it sooner.

Definitely good job, Lindsey! I'll check the book out in a minute :P

message 99: by [deleted user] (new)

I think what he,led was that I knew it would be Tom and his last name had 3 e's and 6 letters.

message 100: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Guys, I've finished 3 books this weekend (it's already Sunday night at my time now). But I don't think I'll be able to post my reviews and guess the title for a while.

I'm not feeling well since this morning and have to stay at bed till I feel better. I thought this is a great opportunity to read as I won't do anything but my mind and my body aren't in the mood to do so :( I'll get back as soon as I can do it. Sorry guys.
