Since Mary Shelley's book was published, the name Frankenstein is often mistakingly thought of as the name of the monster. Once Frankenstein has created the monster, their stories and fates are linked, and the similarities between them grow. Ultimately, the monster can be seen as another side of Victor's own identity.

What similarities do you see between Frankenstein and the monster? How does their relationship develop?
