SOLVED. girl lost in the forest, has to survive and get back home [s]

Literally spent the last couple of hours googling… but I read this book when I was in elementary/middle school, early 2000s, it was about a girl who had to survive in a forest, I think during winter after some kind of accident? I remember one random part really well, that she found some taco seasoning packets in a plane or something that had crashed and used that to make meat she found to eat taste better. One part was also when she found a moose or other animal that had a lot of meat leftover, but she could only cut off and take some of it with her. In the end, she managed to find a road and was saved when a car drove by and got back home.
I know… not a very helpful description of the plot, but it was all I could remember and it's been bugging me for a while :P

Was the girl completely alone, or did she have to care for another sibling/pet/friend while she was in the forest?
