Princess walked towards the restaurant. She just wanted to sit down her boots were tight and so was her jacket. She tried to walk inside but there was like a force field around it. "What?" She tried to touch it but when she did it shocked her.

Simon walked in without a problem, but he stopped. Oh rightttt. He looked at her and then took her hand and murmured a spell, granting her entrance for the moment. "Yeah I forgot about that. Sorry." He said as he led her in.

She walked in and looked around. It looked like a regular restaurant but I bet they didn't have unicorn burgers. No one ever had unicorn burgers. She looked at her nails making sure they didn't chip when she touched the force field. She sat down at a table and leaned her chair backwards.
Well he guessed that she had found a spot that she liked. He smiled and then sat down across from her. "Lovely place this is." He nodded. It was quite magical here. Plus most of the people here werr nice.
She shrugged. She'll have to take him to a place back in her...wasn't important. "Yeah its pretty nice." She looked around. It was kinda empty though. People were probably still at school or at work. She didn't see any magic yet and wasn't very impressed. "Now could you tell me what your worried about?" She leaned her chair forward. "Or who your worried about?"
Simom figured it wouldn't hurt to tell her. What could she do? "Well I am going to say she is a what. But aren't you hungry? I am starving!" He exclaimed. ((I don't know how this works so I am going to make something up)) He asked for a waitress at their table. One came by and gave them a blank menu. He smiled and handed one to her.
"That idiot changed the subject again." She mumbled so he couldn't hear. She swallowed. Then she smiled at him. "How uh does the um..." She pointed at the menu. Maybe this is were the magic came from. She combed her hair back with her hand and spit out her gum in a napkin and it disappeared. ((Me either so I'm gonna make something up to))
((Good then we are on the same pwge.)) Simon smiled at her. "Okay now hold the menu. Just think of what you want and then poof! Its right in front of you. See I'm not a total idiot!" Most of the time. But he left that part out and just smiled. He was thristy so a sprite appeared next to him. Yay.
A unicorn burger and a coke appeared before her. She had to admit that was awesome. She put the blank menu. Unicorn burgers were meat, fruit and horse feed mixed together with lettuce and tomato. She took a bite. It was delicious. It was better then the ones that actual unicorns make. She smiled a bit and twirled her hair with her fingers.
He saw her smile and then nodded. Okay he got something right! He deserved some points. He looked back at his own food. Nothing fancy just some pasta and crab. He hated crab but he didn't really care. For some reason every time he came crab appeared next to him. He was not going for that. He took a bite of his pasta and smiled wider. That was real food.
"Well you seem to be enjoying it." She nodded. She really wanted to figure out what he was worried about and she would do everything to know even if that meant being nice. She looked down at her burger. "Your parents don't care that you're skipping school?" She asked. She didn't know if he even had parents.
"I am enjoying this." He agreed with a nod. "Ummm.... No. I wouldn't think so." He frowned. He didn't have parents like most of the people around here. He had caring parents. His past was nothing so sad, only with a few secrets here and thefe. He was raised normally. As normal as it got around here at least. "What about your parents?"
She shrugged. It hurt mentioning them. "They don't really care." She said. It was technically the truth since they weren't around anymore. She looked at her boots. Then back at him. She took a couple bites of her burger and drank some of her coke before setting it down and deciding that she was finished.
He saw that it was a painful memory for her. He felt bad for asking. "Sorry." He said softly. He bit his lip and then sighed, "You asked me what I was worried about. You realllyyyy wanna know?"
She sighed. Enough with the sorry's. "That is not your fault." Then she realized what he said. Finally something got through to this guy. "Yes I do." She nodded. She had been bugging him for the last couple of minutes about it. Did he really need to ask?
He laughed a little. "Well its rather boring. I have a not so friendly friend. Clare. She is a quite mean Lamia that lives around these parts. I hate her. But she hates me for ripping her heart out and I'm afraid that she might target... A friend. See boring." That was about it. He was worried about Leo too but hopefully he was alright.
She smiled. She would have to meet this Lamia. But she couldn't see Simon ripping anyone's heart out. He looked to good for that. Maybe she should second guess him. She stood. "Not boring. Interesting. And who is this friend. I could help you protect him or her."
((No. She will not meet the Lamia. She will not!)) He thought for a moment. "I wish that I knew were he was." He had not seen him in a while. He really just hoped that he was back at his house but he really had no idea. "Besides I don't want you getting in trouble with Clare."
((I gotta go. BUT SHE WILL MEET CLARE. Oops my mom is yelling at me bye))

Princess laughed. Lamia's? What could Lamia's do except turn into snakes and kiss guys? "Me? In trouble with your snake friend? She couldn't hurt a fly." She shrugged. If that Lamia was smart she would stay away from Princess. Clare would know unicorns aren't horses with rainbows and sparkles.
Simon laughed a little and shook his head. Lamia's were weak compared to some other people he knew. The fact is that most peopel feared her and that made him worry. They were not supposed to be strong creatures. So what could she have done to get such a high rank? That made him afraid.
"Tell me about your friend who you are protecting." She said. She was curious for sure. She put her hands in jacket pockets feeling the 10 throwing knives she had in there. She had to admit throwing knives were not the best option of a weapon cause she only had 10 and she loses them all the time. Princess was no good with a sword or a dagger though.
"He threw up in my vase." He smiled. Yeah that was a good starting point right? Naturally. He looled at his food. What was with the crab? "And that about sums him up."
"You have some weird friends." She sighed. He still wasn't giving her an explanation. She bit her lip. "Okay." She said. "I have to go do something." She was heading straight for the Library. "I'll see you later I guess." She nodded.
He nodded. Maybe maybe not. The great thing was that he should be able to live on as a ghost in case Clare killed him. "Okay then. Bye." He frowned and then stood up.
She waved and walked out, taking slow steps to make sure she didn't bump into the force field again. Nothing happened as she walked out the door. She looked back at him and turned into a unicorn before galloping away.
Simon paid for the food and then walked out as well. Class or home? Class or home? He really didn't know at this point.
Aiden gently took Phoenix's hand and led her inside the resturant. He led her to a table and smiled, "You feeling better?" He asked quietly. He knew that she was still somewhat hurt since she had stopped running back at the park, but he wanted to make sure she wasn't too seriously injured.
Phoenix smiled. Her head hurt, and her body ached, but it was just bruises. All the cuts and a broken rib had healed, as her body responded more to Aiden's magic than anyone else besides Pia. She chuckled, and sent a thankful glance at Aiden. "Ah, Pia would have torn them apart." She blushed, why was she bkushing so often? And ducked her head, tail twitching agitatedly. "Thankyou."
"I'm sorry. I should have protected you better." Aiden murmured, taking her hand again gently, "I'll try harder next time."He would have ripped them apart, but sadly, he wasn't Pia. He couldn't kill someone, no matter how much he thought he could. But who knew, there was a first time for everything.
She laughed, and shook her head, then started combing her hair to get the knots out, before putting it up in a ponytail. She swueezed his hand hentlg then, and left it there. "Dont worry. I will get your blood list shown to the world one day!" She smiled all fangs. Usually she was the fighter but when it came to bad memories, she was weaker to them.
He chuckled softly and let go of her hand, leaning back in his chair. "So what do you want to eat?They have everything here. I'm not kidding. They have everything,"
Phoenix eyes widened, and she leamed forwards. "Salmon! I want salmon!" Her eyes glazed over, ears twitching and tail lashing out behind her.
He laughed softly, "Hey you, calm down. I'll get your Salmon." He held his plate and a large slice of salmon appeared. He handed it to her carefully and just got some bread for himself.
Phoenix smiled, all teeth, at her plate. She then managed to get a knife and fork in her hands, and dug in. She purred, pure bliss, ears back in how much the taste was just right on her taste buds. Her tail swayed behind her. She finished, then glanced at his plate. She wrinkled her nose, eyes flashing in distaste. "You only had a piece of bread?" Amusement danced in her eyes.
Aiden nodded meekly, "Yeah. I'm not that hungry." He said. He didn't think anything of it. "Besides, it was good bread." He smiled at her and took a sip of his water.
She rollwd her eyes, sitting back and relaxing. She looked around, eyes wide, taking everything in. She loved this place, whenever Aiden took her here. She akways wanted to climb the walls, but he always held her back. Well, she studied him, a glint in her eyes. He was over there, she was closest to the walls, she shot off towards the ever so tempting wall.
Aiden quickly jumped out of his chair and ran over to her. "Hey! No!" He knew she would probably try that so he was prepared. He sprinted to her and wrapped his arms around her from behind to keep her from climbing the walls. "Nope." He said, shaking his head and lightly pulling her towards him.
She pouted, but relaxed in his grip, and beamed up at him. "You are getting faster!" Suddenly a gaggle of girls passed by them, whispering and giggling, eyes flitting to Aiden. Phoenix tilted her head, studying them. They seemed to be, ogling? She glanced at Aided. He was pretty good looking, she blinked. Oh. She narrowed her eyes at the group. The lead girl, it seemed she was a wizard, gkared at Phoenix as she approached, her group behind her, then smiled seudctively at Aiden. "Hello cutie. I have seen you around before. I ak Chloe." She held her hand out. She gave off creepy vibes, so Phoenix just hissed at her, tail whippjng back and forth, ears back. The girl, Chloe, just grinned at Aiden, ignoring the annoyance.
Aiden frowned at the Chloe girl, "Okay. Hi. I'm Aiden. And this is Phoenix." He said, keeping his arms around her tightly. He smiled at Pheonix gently, "And this is Phoenix. So you mist be a wozard right?" He asked. That much was obvious. He moved one hand up and shook Chloe's, then took his hand back and started to play with Phoenix's hair, stroking it gently with one arm around her.
Chloe smiled sweetly at Phoenix and then more seductively at Aiden, and nodded. "Yes, and these are my friends, Genivive, Ophelia, Janice, and Eve." The four girls giggled and waved. Chloe eyed the hand stroking Phoenix's hair and sweetly, with layered ice in her voice, "I doubt you are here on a date, so what are you up to?" Phoenix widened her eyes, blushed, but growled and tensed up to leap. She did not like this chick. She was rude, ogling Aiden, and just a plain meanie in her mind.
Aiden caught on pretty quick. "Actually I am here on a date. I asked Phoenix here to go out with me and finally agreed to let me take her out for one date. I had to wear her down but oh well." He smiled at them, "Hi." He looked at the girls Chloe he had introduced.
Phoenix froze, blushed, and knew to go with the playing. She smiled, all teeth, eyes flashing in a challenge. Chloe just huffed, nodded, smiled, and then she and her friends left. When they were out of site, Phoenix whirked around, hands on hips, and smiled. But her eyes were a bit dim. She wished this were a date, that woukd be cool. But oh well. Maybe, she wistfellu thought, yeah, kaybe another time. She then brightened and bounced around Aiden. "Wanna go see Iara? That centaur promised me some milk, and you know he has the bezt milk cuz he always gets the best he can get.
Aiden smiled at the small blush that appeared on her cheeks when he said they were on a date. He was playing to get rid of the girls of course but... She had a really cute blush. Aiden nodded, "Okay cool. Yeah. Lead the way. I don't spend much time outside school and my house. So yep." He moved his arms from around her but took her hand gently.
Phoenix beamed as he held her hand, and swun their arms back and forth, and skipped on dragging him behind, tail wrapped around their wrists. She lead them out of fhe Heaven to the Starry Pool, where Iara liked to lay next too.
