And the winner is...
Tattooed Mountain Women and Spoonboxes of Daghestan
Quite a surprise considering it didn't even qualify.

That sounds like a content-aware kind of comment.
On the other hand, I guess we could actually talk about books in this group someday.
Edit: Or... you checked out the subtitle.

As you certainly must know, this award will be granted to the book published in the year 2013 which is most appealing to the panel of judges without the judges having to read the book. Generally speaking, it would be ideal to avoid any reference to the text contained within the book, and if it were possible to avoid reading any reviews or critiques, that would help preserve the integrity of the awards process. (As an additional benefit, it won't be too hard or annoying).
This year, I have been elected as the sole judge on the panel. I swear, as it is my obligation, to remain entirely unbiased by any knowledge of the book's contents or interest in its subject. I am proud to say that I am well suited to judge this contest, as I have not read any books published in the year 2013.
Nominations should be based on such critical and persuasive factors as: the title of the book, the book's cover art, the reputation of the book or its author, and anything else that constitutes "wow" factor. But I only want good books, you bastards, so don't nominate crap. No crap will be allowed on the shortlist!
By deadline X, a shortlist will be announced. There will be a period of deliberation (which will not include a reading of any of the nominated books) and by deadline Y, the final winner will be gloriously proclaimed.
So let's get started! Nominate now.
