Pre-Reading Questions -
Anybody got any thoughts on this one before we start?
Has anyone read anything similar to this before?
Anybody read anything else by this author previously?

I really want to read this one! I really like Rebecca and retellings can be really good! I haven’t read the author before though. Gosh that cover is so amazing too.
Who else is planning to read it this month??
I definitely plan on reading it. I haven't read Rebecca though so I hope that doesn't matter. And the cover is way gorgeous - and the inside even more so (the chapter headings etc.)!
Aww I haven't seen the actual book. I have the eARC from awhile ago that I didn't read bc I read Rebecca first haha. But I heard it doesn't really matter.
@Diamond I hope it doesn't matter too much. And doesn't the ebooks have any the pictures? If not that doesn't seem fair. My (hardback) copy has pictures of the maze from the cover in it, on the "part one", "part two" etc. pages. :)@Sarah It really is!
I'm excited for this one. Rebecca was one of my favorites from high school.
I'll be joining you guys! I can use it for Disney blocks as well, so it's a lot of points from just one book

Thanks! It's just that I finished my book earlier than expected, and starting another one before this would just mess with my schedule
I'm about halfway now. Not enjoying it as much as I did at the start, but it still feels pretty fast.
Yep. Ashes on the waves started slow, and got slower, so it felt like it took days to get through it. Even though I'm loosing interest in this one slightly, it's still going pretty fast, so it's not that bad.
Ashes was a snail... I mean, I don't mind a slow book, as long as it still pulls me in. But Ashes was just slow and uninteresting
@Rachel - No mine is an eARC. Super old lol. I actually don't think I'm gonna read it I talked to a friend of mine who HATED it and I wanna read so many other amazing books I'm gonna have to push this back further on the tbr!!!
Also doesn't help that that you guys who read it have mentioned how slow it is!! Lol! >.<
@Diamond I'm actually quite enjoying it. I mean it is nothign fantastic but its actually the opposite of slow - I am in a bit of a reading slump at the moment but I'm finding this book really easy to fly through!

There isn't too much going on, but it has an addictive pacing to it. If you are looking for something easy to fly through @Diamond, I'd definitely recommend it for that. I'm only putting it down because it's a 11pm and I should really start thinking of going to bed since I have school tomorrow...

I am late but I would start this in the evening and I never read something from this author, but the book seems intersting and thrilling!

A modern-day twist on the classic thriller, Rebecca, with a dash of the supernatural, a powerful romance, and a deadly family mystery.
“There’s something hidden in the maze.”
Seventeen-year-old Imogen Rockford has never forgotten the last words her father said to her, before the blazing fire that consumed him, her mother, and the gardens of her family’s English country manor.
For seven years, images of her parents’ death have haunted Imogen’s dreams. In an effort to escape the past, she leaves Rockford Manor and moves to New York City with her new guardians. But some attachments prove impossible to shake—including her love for her handsome neighbor Sebastian Stanhope.
Then a life-altering letter arrives that forces Imogen to return to the manor in England, where she quickly learns that dark secrets lurk behind Rockford’s aristocratic exterior. At their center is Imogen herself—and Sebastian, the boy she never stopped loving.
Combining spine-tingling mystery, romance, and unforgettable characters, Suspicion is an action-packed thrill ride.
