Adding a new auther

A friend of mine Amina El Karamany , just started her profession as an author , Her first book was The yellow raincoat.I've added it for her.

I was wondering , how to merge her goodread account with the author acount.

and then fill the form (it'll take a few days to process)

I am trying to do the same thing, only my book is not yet published. I added the beginning part of my book under my writings but I am wondering if I can set my author profile before I publish?

I am self publishing and it will be released by November 1st of this year.

Self-published authors are most often not approved for Goodreads Author status until after their first book has been published.
