I wrote the prologue after watching a documentary on orphans...or Victorian times...or the Jurassic period...Something.
Then I began reading a lot of historical romances and at the same time wished more leading characters were disfigured.
So, I wrote this book to kill some time. It was meant to be only about 8 pages but I couldn't sum it up succinctly enough.
