What did everyone think?

i am going to say, that this is a great book, and everyone should recommend. but i am/have in the past wondered, 'Has the movie, for anyone in general, affected the way you interpret this book?'

I felt the movie did a pretty great job for one. I was impressed by the adaptation and found the dark aspects pretty exciting. I caught on while reading the book that Narnia was a much "crueler place" with talking about Aslan an illegal situation. So when I saw the movie commercial reflect that pretty well I thought that was great! I enjoyed the film as it is a great cinematic, impressive piece of film not just a film based on a beloved book.
