SOLVED. Picture Book that deals with losing someone [s]

Hi I picked up this picture book from the library that deals with losing someone. It's more of an adult picture book than a kids. I think the plot was they were looking around the neighborhood looking for a lost pet but it turns out it was a relative that passed away. Hope you guys can help. Thanks!
