Summer, and the reading is easy

I'm a monumental backlog kinda guy. I've also been given some free books to review lately, when I've read a few more I might be able to see the sun again.
I seem to be reading the same stuff I'd pick up anytime. Maybe I read more big books than usual (long days in the sun are made for them), but other than that, I don't have any particular summer reading habits. For this summer I have only one book related resolution: Read A Tale for the Time Being. I got this for my birthday in February, but I think this might be a good read for summer.
I find that, at the beginning of summer I lose focus and my reading slows down. However, once it becomes warm enough to sit in garden, I'm off on anything possible. I do like to work my way through the backlog but then find I feel more inclined to buy more. Must be the sun!

What so people like to read on their holidays? Light fiction, heavy classics or if you're like me, work your way through your monumental backlog.
