This novel is mentioned as a good example. I am looking for others. Any successful genre or literary fictions which employs 2 or more alternating POV's in close third person would be welcome as another successful example of this technique.

Such an interesting question; I know I've read them, but they're not coming to me. I'm thinking. Lots of 19th century books come to mind, trying to think of more modern books.
