Up to Chapter 4 (view spoiler)[ Liking it so far. I don't like the way the main character deals with human interactions though. She comes off as really rude, but maybe that is just her way with dealing with things. I hope so! Hopefully she'll be able to heal more as the story progresses. Those guys were such a-holes for not giving the picture back! I don't understand why someone would want to antagonize someone else when they're crying. I want to know what the name is of the blue-eyed boy! It's already off to such a quick start! Hopefully it won't slow down. (hide spoiler)]

Up to Chapter 8
(view spoiler)[ The whole entire scene where she kept on going further and further into the basement of the school and eventually into the forest was very Sleeping Beauty-esque to me. Here she is and she's so curious and knows she should turn back and can't help herself. Then Nathan finds her show and slips it back onto her foot which was very Cinderella-y for me. I can see how the author in trying to portray Nathan as an actually caring person, but I like how she's doing it gradually. Nora was so dumb in the whole entire scene where she was trying to get her notebook. She walked herself right into danger. I'm also happy the author isn't portraying Nora as a beautiful perfect girl - it's really refreshing! The book is picking up and I'm very much liking it! (hide spoiler)]

The scene reminded me of High School Musical when Gabriella accidentally throws spaghetti on Shapay. I think Nora has to realize that Nathan never lets his guard down, just like her, so when he's "ignoring" her, it just might be the way he acts around everyone. Nathan and her are definitely going to get together! I hope it's soon though! It seemed as if they were about to kiss before the whistle blew. Nora definitely shouldn't be as antagonizing towards Nathan; he hasn't really done anything wrong. (hide spoiler)]

Can I also get book 2? I'm starting to really enjoy this one!

Up to Chapter 15 (57%) Beginning of Never

(view spoiler)[ I'm really liking this! Nora and Nathan are really cute together so far. I think Kate is being really selfish and Nora doesn't seem to have any good friends or people around her, really. This whole entire situation with Nora and Nathan together is going to be difficult know that everyone thinks they're related. It's picking up really quickly and I'm excited to see how it's going to end. Everyone is saying, "How could it end like that?" And know I'm anxious to see what happens! Haha :) The volleyball scene is one of my favorites so far just because I play volleyball and I thought it was pretty funny and endearing. I want them to have a legit kiss now, not just a peck! (hide spoiler)] I'm probably going to finish this today because I can't put it down!

Up to Chapter 19 (81%) Beginning of Never

I love their relationship when they're on the same page and communicating and teasing one another.When Nathan is being all distant though, I really hate it. I'd like to believe that it's not manipulation, and I'm 99% sure it isn't, but he shouldn't be so secretive. Nora gives in really easily to him and I wish she would hold her ground and not obsess over him. I'm really liking it so far... It looks like a 3.5 or 3.75 read for me just because of the characters. I can't really connect to Nora sometimes, but then all of a sudden I really like her. The same goes with Nathan as well. (hide spoiler)]

I think she's more doing for herself to prove that she is good enough even without Nathan than to prove she has her life together. Still, it's unfair to both of them if they keep kissing just because they're not going to be in a relationship anytime soon. Weird how Kate is missing...is it linked with her reading Nora's journal?? That dream really confused me as well... Almost done, but I'm actually going to put it aside for an hour or so. (hide spoiler)]

100% Beginning of Never

(view spoiler)[ Ummm. What? Seriously what just happened? That was not an ending at all. Ugh that's infuriating! I wish that Nathan would have let her in or at least told her he was leaving. I didn't realize that Nora was 15! I knew about Nathan being 19 because she asked him, but I thought she was older than that! Not because she was mature, but because she could attract a 19 year old. Let's just say that I could definitely not have done that! I mean, 15 is the year when you don't look good, but you don't look bad. I also just read the synopsis for the next book...13 years??? That's how long it took them to be reunited. Nora is now 28 and Nathan is 32. That's insane to think about! (hide spoiler)]

Am I the only one who thought that there were going to be vampires in this? There was one scene where Nora said he had cold hands and it was marketed Twilight meets Eleanor and Park so I assumed there would be some paranormal aspect! Haha I guess not! :) I really liked this one. It's not my favorite and I did some issues, but it was fun to read.

Here's my review of The Beginning of Never. I took it down half a star, just because when I was writing my review it was easier to point out the frustrating parts than it was the parts that I loved. Hopefully I'll enjoy the second one better!

Just got The Way to Never today and I'm 41% done with it! The second book is way better than the first and I couldn't put it down for the life of me! Here's my thoughts: (view spoiler)[ it's so insane how thirteen years have passed! I really hate Damien! I think I don't like him mainly because he's in the way of Nora and Nathan being together, but also becaus eu don't really like his personality. He was pretty scary right before the car crash. I'm anxious to see how this one ends. Obviously, Nathan and Nora aren't going to get their happy ending yet because this is just the second book, but I really just want them to admit to each other they they've never forgotten each other and still hold a candle to them. I'm interested to see how Nathan's plan will go and what his plan is. I feel like it's going to blow up in his face. Also, I feel like Damien is going to hit Nora like her father did to her mom. (hide spoiler)] So far it's a four star read as of now! Super addicting!

Nathan is obviously the better choice and I just wish that they would have approached each other sooner. I hope that by the end of the Nora is with Nathan and then the third book is just Nora/Nathan drama, because I really can't deal with Damien. I totally love all the secondary characters.
