LOL! They do have a way of sneaking up on us, don't they?
I finally started my challenge book today. I had some other books that I had to finish and it took longer than expected. I guess I won't be getting to the Rome book. However, I did finish another level of the serial killer challenge.
I finished in time. I posted in the reporting thread. I read Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail. It was recommended to me while I was reading A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail a few months ago for the group read. I enjoyed both books even though they are very different. Bill Bryson added a lot of humor and facts about the Appalachian trail throughout his book so it was more educational and informational. Cheryl Strayed really focused more on her personal journey. This is about how she self-destructed after her mother's death and used this hike to rediscover who she was and what she wanted.
