Getting a Grip

I've tried using the separate tool but am bounced to my dashboard so guess this is a librarians only tool.

Would someone kindly separate my paperback/kindle editions so I can recombine with the correct covers.

I am not sure why you need them separated, I have combined them all, as they are the same book. Regardless of having having a different cover. I have also added the alternate cover note.

As the author, you can change the default book (the one that shows up when people search for your book:

Thanks for your quick response.

I was intending to combine all editions, but what I was hoping to achieve was to end up with only two editions visible (paperback and kindle) both with the wilted plant as cover.

A current search does indeed show the default edition as the main pic, but it also shows TWO kindle editions as smaller pics - one with the old cliff-sign cover.

Is it possible to combine editions so this older kindle edition is hidden?

No. Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. As Deon explained, you can set a specific edition as the default, but all editions will be kept.
