MAZE RUNNER
I've only ever been a sprinter not a long distance runner :D but I did promise to run the 5K for next years MS Walk and Fun Run so will let you know how the training and run go :DI don't know if its how Thomas went though his emotions I didn't connect with him, with his frustration about not remembering (trust me I was frustrated!) I liked Chuck but we didn't see much of him... (view spoiler)

Yeah, I for sure will be reading the book again before I see the movie. There are little things I am sure I have forgotten and want to go in remembering it all so I can really compare them!

haha wogging! I'm so using that :D This year my team raised over 2 grand for MS which was awesome! Whole total from Melbourne/Sydney and Canberra Walk and Fun Run held 1 Jun 14 raised just over 1.6 million. woot!!
Ok, so I finished this series this weekend and loved it. But I kept picturing Chuck as Chunk from the Goonies, and the Rat Man as John Waters....lol

I have been watching the new trailer over and over again! I still can't believe how awesome it looks! Obviously for us who have read the book, it is super exciting but even my friends who haven't read the book say that it looks like an incredible movie! Super excited!

I loved these books, and I can't wait to see the movie! I feel the same about the grievers, I can't wait to see what they look like! September can't get here fast enough!

Hello everyone...new here. Gotta say, LOVE THE MAZE RUNNER! Finished the maze runner about a month ago, now onto the 3rd book death cure...please nobody spoil the book 4 me! anyway...i heard the book will turn into a movie, and i had the maze runner in the "want to read shelf" in my goodreads account, so i decided to read the book...OMG it's so awesome! Then...i saw the trailer...it's super...but i'm kinda confused on when he got "squished" into the maze...i don't think that happened...yes i know he went into the maze and that he had to run and save Alby by hanging him on that vine...but i think he just went into the maze, not just push his way in...anyway can't wait to watch movie! for the first time i'm excited for school since i get to see the movie then....

WOW! I didn't know that there are so much fans of this book. Nice to meet you guys! :DI finished it a few days ago and I found it AMAZING. I totally loved it! Such good story and good characters as well . All the suspense, mystery and action had me stuck to it while I was reading it.
I'm as excited as you all to see the movie! I want to see how it will look all! The Habitants, the Creators, the Labyrinth and THE GRIEVERS!
Here, in Mexico, will be released on September 12th, so I'll have to wait a little longer. But it sure will be worth it; by the trailers I've seen it looks amazing.

Finally am able to start reading the book! So far it's AWESOME!!! Can't wait to see what happens...and then the movie!!!

I am so excited for this film! I was watching all of the trailers in the cinema before Guardians Of The Galaxy began, and the trailer for The Maze Runner came on and, I'm not going to lie, I got little tears in my eyes. I just had a bit of a fangirl attack.I guess you could say the same when I listened to the soundtrack on Soundcloud!

OMG the movie was soooo good!! I know they changed a lot of stuff with it, but I like how they had the main parts (Thomas hiding Alby in the ivy, Thomas getting himself stung on purpose, etc.) even though they didn't happen the exact way they happened in the book. It was still soooo good and the ending especially was perf

I agree! The few changed they made allowed the movie to flow perfectly. The ending was flawless! I am working all weekend, but hopefully I can get our and see it again now that it is in real theaters! :)
Yesss! The movie was PERFECT. As you all have already said, there were different parts from the book, but that doesn't change a lot the film.All the while I was really excited and tense, and more in the moment that the Grievers appeared! They were so gross and scary.
I felt concern, excitement, surprise, horror, suspense, joy.
I also loved the choice of actors to play the characters, they fit in perfectly.
This will become by far one of my favorite films of fiction.
I look forward that it has a good reception so they can continue with the sequel. I know I won't be disappointed.
Absolutely! I literally could not breathe during Chuck's final scene... Or throughout the entire movie for that matter. I cannot wait for The Scorch Trials!! I heard they're already doing casting calls for Brenda. And please tell me somebody else freaked out as much as I did when James Dashner made his cameo at the end?! Because I just lost it lol
I loved the movie, and was really pleased they took out the slow and boring parts. Can't believe Scorch Trails has a release date already. September 15th 2015. Loved the flow of the movie! I would say it is a must see in theaters. I will add this one to my movie collection. Plus, I loved that the Mockingjay trailer was shown too.

Wait my other comment posted before I finished typing. So as I was saying, I think Thomas and Teresa's relationship wasn't in the movie and I would like to know how they're going to continue the second movie without their telepathy and tight friendship.
I have heard a few people say they will not continue with the series since there are so many questions raised(that never get answered in some cases), but I have not heard anyone not get connected with Thomas. People might have felt that way but just did not say it.... I personally got hooked right away and really felt for him. Maybe it was his desire to be a runner, and since I do 5ks and half marathons I was excited for him to get out there and try it! haha Who knows...
