Yes, it really would. Ismae is an awesome character, and think how cool it would look with all the period costumes & sets.

Sara the Librarian (museoffire) I just wish the series would continue but unfortunately the author passed away not that long ago.

Ive been reading up on it here and there, and I feel like it is not going to be a good movie... Like...the book is just so unique and the world is so awesome, but it will be hard to do it justice on screen without making it stupid. I still have only read the first book, but already I cannot imagine it being made into a good enough movie.... :(

I for one am NOT looking forward to Cinder. There is so much in the book I know they are going to wreck, and it will be just another love story version of Cinderella.... It's going to take a lot for me to want to see that one in theaters... The book will just never be done good enough!

I am really looking forward to Legend. I feel like it will make a good movie, since the book was simple in its awesomeness...if that makes any sense! haha Based on his postings on twitter it looks like Rick Yancey is really involved in the making of The Fifth Wave. That is one I am really REALLY looking forward to seeing!

Oh, and Sam, you will for sure love Cinder! I still have the read the rest of the series, but it left off at a good point so I know when I head back to it it will be great! :)

I love this series! I read them when I was in high school and starting to look at buying them. It would be interesting to see what they would do it. Like if they would do each individuals or try to group them together.

message 188: by Malikajosina (new)

Malikajosina | 2 comments The Awakened Series by Jason Tesar (& Wandering Stars)...would be a brilliant screen adaption. But perhaps better for television than movies? Also...Scorpio Races. standalone that DOES NOT need a damn trilogy! and..."trying to sleep in the bed you made". lifetime getting some color perhaps? or BET Originals back from the graveyard?

message 189: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (book_addict23) | 14 comments I know its a younger kids book, but the BFG by roahld daul would be a good movie adaptation for younger kids!

Dana Burkey (danaburkey) | 1690 comments Mod
Wicked as in the book that is also a stage show? I thing it would be cool to see it as a non-musical movie. I think the whole making musicals into movies fad is a little bit overdone right now, and it would be more hype than really showing the story....
