Khguignion | 2 comments Heroine lives with a rich family where the mother "puts up" with her. She just wants to be a part of the family. She does good deeds. Visits the poor. One poor lady gets the heroine to promise that she'll keep an eye out for her son who now works at the big house. Mother thinks he isn't making good choices. Heroine promises. Heroine receives papers that prove the she is heir to everything the "rich family" believes is theirs, but heroine doesn't want the title, she just wants to belong. So she destroys the papers or so she thinks she does. The boy she is keeping an eye on didn't care for her attention and stole part of the papers. Heroine is accused of stealing the rich mothers jewels. She didn't though she thinks the boy did, but refuses to implicate him in order to save herself. He finally comes forward with the papers he took and she is vindicated.
