Once Upon a Time and Cassie #2

Raven, don't let her start crying too much. Her powers are still developing and are tightly connected to her emotions. Who knows what could happen if they come out. Ruby glanced up at Opal feeling Nick behind her sent chills down her spine. Recalling what Blake said do whatever it takes then they will fix it.Avery she had to fight for her and Nick. "They already know that I am an Elder by now. I mean I did shift into that form already." With a flick of a wrist she sent Opal flying against the wall. Gold streaks flickered in her eyes. "You will have to do a lot better than that Nick. Go ahead try to get the dark Ruby to come out to play. If you can." Shrugging her shoulders. Being brave for her loved ones.
Will could feel something going down. "Is the paper work ready for Grace to be move. I don't want her to be here any longer?"

Nick grinned sensing that being behind her gave her the chills. Not even bothering with trying to help Opal up when she was tossed across the room. Just glancing in her detection with mild interest. Before flashing up behind Ruby. "Hmm, I think I'll expect that challenge... my only wonder now is how much will it take?" He asked as a retorial question. Letting some of his own darkness leak towards her, not to put it into her. But to draw her own to the surface.
Leah looked to Will when he asked about the paper work. "it is, I just got back to report. They're allowing us to transfer her. So we can leave as soon as Raven and Avery arrive so that they can come with us."

Ruby could feel Nick right his presence made her shiver. He was trying to call our her darkness,by using his. "Clever way to do it, but you will have to a lot better than that. " Turning around looking up at him this time she didn't tremble when she looked at him. However, she felt her darkness coming to the surface slowly. Not to mention the only blood she craved was right in front of her. Nick was her walking weakness. "You can't expect that to make any darkness come out to play."
Will nodded. They were in the building what was taking them so long. Then he thought for second Avery probably felt everything that was going on. He felt bad for her.

Justin could sense them as well, as he thought Leah could. Clearing his throat. "I'll go check and make sure everything's okay..." He told the two of them then left to go check and see where they were.
Nick gave her a grin. "No? Then what is it I feel flowing to the surface inside you? I know that it isn't your Elder Powers.. seeing as even though those are all nice and shiny and polished now, it's darker then that. So don't lie. Maybe you just need a little more convincing to let them out." He said running a finger down the side of her cheek then letting his hand drop back to his side. He knew how to play her, so that she feel right into his hands like putty.

Will nodded his head. "Thank you." He was impatient because that darkness didn't set well with him or any of them.
Opal was dropped to the ground that wasn't plan to let go of her. As soon as he touched her she could feel her legs start to tremble. This isn't the Nick that she loved right now he was gone. Her heart was racing and the heat was rising to her cheeks. The darkness was getting closer and closer to the surface. If he kissed her she would lose it. His lips on her sounded good. Why couldn't she shake that feeling off? And where was Blake? Ruby's moved closer to Nick.
Opal smiled in the background pushing visions of Nick kissing her on to Ruby. Sending them into a dark plane. Leaving Blake behind.Opal laughed. "Ruby doesn't it sound nice if Nick kisses you right now. Don't you want to make him happy." The Elder may have thrown her against the wall, but the dark plane was her strength
Ruby froze right in front of Nick looking up at him. "Yes it sounds goes if he would kiss me. I want to make him happy." Avery she had to fight for Avery. "But you aren't the Nick I know and love." She was finding it hard to fight the darkness in this plane. The darkness was overwhelming. "Go ahead kiss me that's the only way you will get my darkness to come to the surface."

Nick glanced up hearing another hit the wall finding it to be Opal again. Some power she had if she couldn't even stay away from the wall for more then a few seconds. He thought. Then grinned as he backed away from Ruby. He'd gotten what he'd came for. Her doubt and to expose her. "I'm not going to kiss you... I've gotten what I've come for."
Leah started getting Grace ready to be transferred.
Justin walked down the hall spotting them and closing the distance between them. "I take it you're Raven and this would be Avery." he said looking between them. "I'm Justin. Alpha of the other pack that's in town." he explained.
Raven nodded "yes Jason should be there.." looking up wondering who he was. "Nice to meet you.. I'm assuming you're here with Will and Grace then?" She asked. Hearing that he was, before going on. "We're transferring Grace to our health clinic. My healer is helping Will with her. Come, we should get going, back to our house, so that we can start making plans." Rave could feel the darkness, but she was trying to hide it the best she could for Avery's sake.

Opal's eyes widened that hair that platinum blonde hair belong to Avalon. They had to get out of there. Avalon was very powerful if she woke up then they would be in trouble. They weren't prepared for this to happen. Quickly opening a portal eyeing Blake. It wasn't like he forgot about Avalon she was just like them, but didn't chose a dark path. She got Nickolas the kingdom everything until they both disappeared. Delilah despised her sister Avalon. "My lord we have to go now." Avalon was the one thing that could kill them all. Not waiting for him to make choice she pushed him through the portal.
Avalon why did that name sound so familiar? Ruby thought to herself she needed to open her eyes. Memories started to run through her mind everything started to fall into place like a puzzle. Her body buzzed with power. The sun started to rise and shine in the window. For the second time in 24 hours she shot up in bed seeing Blake beside her. "I feel really refresh and better than ever." Ruby got up and saw her reflection in the closet mirror and screamed. "Blake what happened to my hair and my eyes." She jumped back startled by the way she looked. Memories kept flooding through her mind sending a sharp pain. "Why are the other vampires still here and in the living room? How did I get into my room?" Ruby was Avalon. Avalon was locked away by the Elders per her request to protect herself from Delilah and Opal. Ruby didn't realize that or what was happening to her.
Avery's eyes widened there was another powerful force coming from town, but this one felt different. It was safe and warm. "Auntie Raven, everything is going to be okay now. The Earth Princess has returned.. Uncle Blake must have called in a favor for this to happen" Giggling softly. "She's going to save daddy and the whole world from darkness, but not without the help of the Werewolves. Justin and Will should go speak to her and Uncle Blake because they need to work together. Even though they are hate each other very much. I am not sure why that is because Jason and I like each other. However there are times like this where you have to put away your differences and work together. That means being on the same page. Don't worry about Grace she will be fine." Avery said she was a young Elder who knew a lot about the Elders mostly because of the talks she had with Blake in secret. Not to mention most of the time she was beyond her age. Yawning a bit.

Raven didn't know about this, or anyone named Avalon. But if Avery was right, she had been gone for some many years. And now she had returned to help get Nick back, and stop the darkness. But she'd need the help of both Blake and the werewolves to do so. Glancing to Justin now. Before starting to let him lead them down the hall. " What's wrong with Grace?" She heard herself asking even though she had a million more questions that she wanted to ask.
Leah felt the power shift. To something light and bright. Nothing like the darkness that had been before it. Wondering where that had come from now. As she finished getting Grace ready for the transport.
Justin had started leading Raven and Avery back to the room where Leah would be finishing up getting Grace ready for the transport and where Will was still waiting.
Nick looked back only once at Ruby before vanishing through the portal with Opal. Seeing that Ruby no longer looked like herself, he could sense the light coming from her. And if they stayed they'd be destroyed. So they'd have to regroup and then make their plan of attack.

"Where's Avery?" Rose asked. "After this is over I want her to come to live with us." Others nodded in agreement. "I will file for something to let me become Queen. I am next in line."
Ruby laughed rolling her eyes. "Are you trying to test me Rosie?" Using her sister's pet name she used to call her when she was little. She hated it and still does. "My daughter is safe and out of harms way." Pausing for a moment. "You will have to pry my daughter out of my cold dead arms because I she will never live with you. While you are prying my daughter out of my dead arms then you can take the crown." Grinning. I am not in the mood to fight with you Rosie we have more important things to talk about like the impending darkness of two beings who happened to have my mate on their side. Three of them combine could kill most of the population, by having putting the world into eternal darkness." Flashing right into her sisters face. "I don't know about you Rosie, but I like seeing the sun rise." Gracefully moving away from her. "We will be fighting at the waterfall. All vampires that can yield any form of light will be at the front. Water will behind them and then Earth. You are all dismiss." Walking back up the stairs.
"Grace is fine,Auntie Raven. That light power probably helped." Why was the alpha ignoring her? "Mister why aren't you answering me? You need and Will need to go see Uncle Blake and the Earth Princess. You need to be on the same page or fighting them won't work." Avery said.
Will heard Avery and sighed a bit. A mini Ruby this was going to be fun. The worse part about this was Avery was right.
"Opal, Nickolas glad you are back." Delilah said softly.
"Avalon is back." Opal whispered softly. "She was the Elder. They must have locked her away in that life for eons."
Delilah looked at Opal and froze for a moment. "Nickolas you have to kill Avalon in three days at the new moon. We will be the strongest then. You're the only one that can kill her. Then we can plan our takeover."

Raven nodded glancing to Avery again then back to Justin. Waiting for his answer.
Justin stopped and turned, to face both the girls and to answer Avery's question. "And we will, just not right this minute. Seeing as I need to get my pack ready, as well as help Will do a couple of things. Then I'm sure we'll go find and speak with Blake." He told them then walked the last few steeps into the room where Grace was.
Nick smiled in greeting as Delilah greeted them back. Before informing her of what had taken place once Opal had said that Avalon was back. "She is powerful, but we can plant doubt in her. Not only about herself but the people around her. If anything else she will began to question herself more then the people around her. Seeing as she might be Avalon now, but Ruby is still in there.. and I know her weakness. Just like I know some of the others as well."

Delilah smiled wickedly. "Do as you wish my King. Put as much doubt starting now. The best way to reach the Ruby is through sleep. Go into her dreams and do whatever you have to do to make her weak. Because three days times she will be dead." Smiling softly snapping her finger casting a spell on Avalon. "She should be asleep." Tossing him an object. "This will take her sanity away. Good Luck."
All of the sudden Ruby felt tired collasping on the stairs. Falling fast asleep as she tumbled down the stairs. This didn't feel right she had to wake up something was wrong really wrong. Whatever was going to happen she was on her own for this one. Opening her eyes into her dreams. "Whoever is trying to mess with me come out now." It felt like this happened before to her. "Delilah did this to me before." Knowing Delilah she will use Nick on her. All she had to do was wait for Nick.Knowing Nick he probably thought he had an upper hand. "I would like to thank you Nickolas or should I say Nick for awakening me. I have been locked away for a very long time. It's funny to think my sister things she has your as hers, but we both know you can never love Delilah the way you love me." Pausing for a moment. "I guess in return I will awakened Nickolas in you."
Avery felt something happen to her mother, but she couldn't tell what it didn't matter. "You don't seem to understand. How are you suppose to prepare to fight them if you don't know what you're up against?" She snapped softly. "You have to know your enemy before you fight them. The only people who seem to listen to me is daddy, mommy, and Uncle Blake." She whispered softly tears falling down her face. "Something is wrong with mommy. I want to tell her it will be okay not to listen to it."

Nick steeped out of the shadows. Seeing that Ruby had made it here, although it was and wasn't Ruby. Yes it was Ruby's body but he could tell that it wasn't Ruby he was speaking too, maybe it would of been before. But this right now was Avalon. Speeding his arms wide before letting them drop back to his sides. "What can I say? A guy can change, seeing as from what I hear it's been a very long time since you've been seen or heard from. By all means, your welcome to try, but I have nothing to hide. " He told her. Seeing as he was just as good at playing mind games as she was. "Delilah, is over dermatic. Thinks power is the only way to win a fight. But maybe she's right... I suppose we'll find out."
Raven felt bad for the little girl, but also knew that werewolves where more inclined to look after their own first then to stretch out their neck to help someone else before their pack was protected. Turning to Avery and whipping a few tears from her face. "I listen to you, too. But Justin here, has to make sure that his people are safe, and protected as well. Just like Mommy and Daddy make sure you stay safe as well as other vampires when they need protecting. Then he'll go visit with Uncle Blake and sort this out along with Will. Right?" She told her then addressed the last word at Justin.
Justin didn't care for vampires, but he also knew that these two would be in their care for as long as this lasted. And so he'd learn to get along with both of them. "Right. Plus it wont take that long for me to prepare everyone, so I'll be going to see your uncle Blake tonight at latest if not before." He assured Avery.
Leah, finally got everything settled. "Alright. We're ready to leave, I can go with you in your car while Justin takes Avery and Raven. Seeing as I don't think you want to be separated. Plus it'll be good to get the chance for all of us to get to know each other."
Grace was starting to feel the nightmares change. Change and shape into something else. Something darker then they had been before. Expect this time Nick. And two other women that she'd never seen or meet before where with him. With everyone on the ground dead. Looking around for Eva. But she didn't see her this time. But the feeling she was getting from all of them- Even Nick. Was horrifying. It was dark and twisted. And she couldn't understand why.

Avery sighed and shook her head pulling away from Raven. "I understand preparing your people, Mister, but you don't know what your up against. So anything you do now is useless expect moving the children and mothers to safety. Going into a battle blindly is stupid and has been proven throughout history to be a careless fatal flaw of the loosing party. The only one who knows how to prepare for what you up against is the Earth Princess." Pausing for a moment. "I know you don't like vampires and especially the Elders, but I am not your enemy at the moment." . Looking towards the room that Will were in and opened the door. She could sense what Grace was seeing, but it wasn't Grace seeing it. Standing on the chair. "Don't worry Grace, the Earth Princess has return.I know what you are seeing is scary, but it's just the future. It isn't set in stone." Touching her hand gently showing her a glimpse of something great that was going to happen in the future. Showing Grace holding two babies. "That is a for sure thing to happen." Jumping down from the chair and skipping to Raven.
Will couldn't help, but laugh at Avery. Justin was probably going to loose his temper. She was right in this case any other time. Then seeing her interact with Grace. For some reason Avery knew what was going with Grace. It shocked him that this little girl was so wise beyond her years.
Opal looked over at Nick's sleeping body. She could sense light energy coming from him. "Delilah you might want to wake him up. Avalon is trying to awaken his memories of the past. If that happens there is no way he will trust you. After all you did kill Nickolas."
Delilah shook her head. "Nickolas is mine." She hissed. "He is dark and nothing will change that. Plus I can control him with my blood." It was true she was blinded by having him and power.

Justin let go of a very heavy sigh. "That would be what I along with Will, will be doing tonight. Seeing as we want all the mothers and children safe. Then once we have them safe, we will go and talk with him so that we can further plan our attack."
Raven had let Avery down for a moment when she'd gone to Grace. Wondering and yet amazed and yet shocked again that she was wise beyond her years. Smiling down at Avery as she came to sand beside her again.
Grace felt someone touch her hand that wasn't Will's. But then heard Avery's voice. Then saw the vision change. And for the first time. It was something good. Something really good. Seeing herself through Avery's eyes. Or what the little girl already knew. Herself holding two little babies. Twins. Trying to find Will in the room. But-- where was he?? Oh. There. Coming in the door. He'd been speaking with the doctors she heard him. Taking in a gasp of air.

Avery smiled as she watched Grace from Raven's side. "Everything is going to be okay."
Will smiled at Avery. "I am sure Jason will be happy to see the both of you. Justin is going to take you to the camp and they will meet you there. Avery try to be good for Justin."

Nick got snapped out of his dream state, but didn't open his eyes right away. Starting to feel something string inside him but didn't think much of it. Maybe it was what Ruby had been speaking about. Opening his eyes after a moment and sitting up. Finding himself alone in the room at least for now. Getting up and heading to the door to go find out where the others had gotten to.
Leah smiled at the two vampires, despite her distaste of them, she'd put that aside to help protect them. "I'm sure it will be.. I'm Leah by the way, Justin's--- medic if you will. I'm just about to transfer her to our house, so you can ride with Justin and we'll meet you there."
Raven nodded slightly at Leah. "It's nice to meet you.. alright. Sounds good, if you need any assentce with anything I have medical training, so I can help once we return if need be.." She informed her.
Justin glanced at Leah. "Go start getting her into the car we'll be there shortly.." He told her. "Thank you, I'm sure Leah will take you up on the offer once everything-- begins. But in the mean time. It's our job to keep you two safe. So if you don't mind I think it would be a good idea to get going soon.. Will? You ready?"

Delilah saw Nick walking around. "So how did things go?" Seeing that the trinket was gone. "You failed. You had one simple task which you failed at." She snapped shaking her head. "Are you that useless? I didn't want to control you, but I will." Closing her eyes and reaching his mind. "Nickolas rebuild that connection with that girl now."
Opal eyes widened Delilah was out of control. She needed to be stopped. Nick was stronger that Delilah. Provoking him wouldn't be the smartest idea. He could easily snap to the darkness. "Delilah I would calm down, he's stronger than you. I don't think that you control him. The only one who could even do that is Avalon because of how much blood of hers he has had." Opal hissed.
"Shut up Opal." Delilah felt something could wrong her knees started to tremble. "What are you doing Nickolas?"
Will nodded his head. "Yeah I am ready." Taking his phone and quickly dialing the pack explaining to them that they need to drive over to Justins camp right away.

Nick might have failed in doing the task at hand. But he had also gained knowledge while he'd been in there. Although in doing so, Ruby had also manged to awaken Nickolas within him. So he remembered everything. But he also would not show those cards either. Only the darkness that he wielded right now. Not crumpling to the ground when Delilah started to try and control his mind. Instead he turned that back on her through his mind. "What do you think I'm doing? I'm turning your power back on you. Seeing as- even though you may be the Queen of Darkness... now that you've made me The King of it, I am above even you in rank. And it appears power as well. While you think I have failed in my mission, to plant doubt in her mind I have also learned other things that may work in our favor. But if you're not interested in any of it, I will simply not share, and go about planning my own way of going about all of this without your help."
Justin nodded, and headed out the door. " You two will be riding back with me, so that Will doesn't have to be separated from Grace. Leah is going with him to keep an eye on things and handle anything should it come up." He explained to them waving Raven out the door.
Raven could understand and respect that. Seeing as if her mate if she had one was in a state as Grace was in she wouldn't want to leave his side either. Reaching out a hand to Avery. "Come on, Boo. Justin's going to take us someplace safe and you'll be able to see Jason there"
Leah packed up her things, and got a wheel chair next to the bed. But stopped asking once Will was off the phone and the other three had already left to head out. "Do you want me to push her out to the car or would you rather carry her?"

Opal shook her head and faced palmed herself. "Delilah you fool, Nickolas obviously has been awakened." She jumped down from the edge she was sitting on. "You of all people should feel that. I told you this was going to happen. I could sense the light energy coming from him. This means he knows that you killed him and won't trust you. Nickolas called off the engagement with you because he doesn't love you and to try to force that love on him isn't love. Nickolas will never want you or crave you like he does Avalon. We have more important things to worry about like killing the person who can kill us." Opal hissed through her teeth.
"I gave you that power. I made you stronger. After all of this Avalon still has you. You were supposed to be mine." Delilah was blinded by envy as her face went blank. Her mind was completely under Nick's control.
Ruby's eyes widened she felt Nick using his dark powers from here. It sent shivers down her spine. What she did must have worked which would explain why she felt the way she did. Grabbing the cushion of the couch not because she was in pain, but because it was intoxicating feeling. The only thing she could hear was the thudding against her chest. Taking a deep breath. "Will should be showing up in a couple hours I am going to take a shower." She flashed to the bathroom then opening the portal to the dark castle she walked through it. Looking at Opal and Delilah then Nick. Flashing towards him and grinned. "My love I felt you awaken." By awakening Nickolas Ruby rebuilt the connection she had two hours before she either lost herself to Nick or she got back in time for the meeting. "I felt you use your dark power and I needed to see if I could help you." She stammered.Ruby didn't realize it would be this hard to fight off the connection.

Avery fell asleep on the way to the camp. She felt something happen her heart break. "I want mommy and daddy." Tears rolled down her little red cheeks. The vehicle stopped and she saw all eyes on them. "I want mommy and daddy." She repeated. What if daddy didn't return to mommy did that mean he didn't love them anymore? "Please turn around the car mister. I want to go home. I want my Ellie."
"Sir what are those two doing there? Their kind isn't welcome?" A werewolf growled.

Blake had been waiting for her to return seeing as he had felt her leave but had not been able to track her. Although he had also thought better thinking that right now she'd want to be alone if that is why she had left. Turning back now when she came through again and buried her face in his chest again. Wrapping his arms around her in comfort. "Nick is smart, he'll come to his conclusion soon enough.. I know you do. You've always loved him... but you also have to have faith in the fact that he will come back to you, but also prepare yourself in case he does not.." It wasn't very comforting and he knew that. But she did need to know it.
Justin had driven on ahead of Will and the others. Seeing as he needed to inform his own pack that Will and his would be joining them soon. Pulling up and stopping the car, in front of the main house. "I know, but Raven and us are here to protect you. So as of right now neither of you can go home.." he told her having just about enough of Raven's chatter on the way over.
Raven had been explaining a little more on what was going on to Justin as he'd drove them here. Looking back hearing that Avery had finally woken. "I have Ellie in the backpack back there along with some of your other things. I know sweetie but mommy sent us here so that you can be better protected from everything for the time being. I'm sure you'll see her soon though."
Leah had sat in the back with Grace's head in her lap to watch over her while Will fallowed Justin to the camp. Being informed on the way that the rest of his pack would meet us there. Pulling up behind Justin's car. And getting out so that Will could get Grace out. Hearing that some of the were's weren't happy with them bringing in two vampires. Telling him that she'd be back in a minute but he could head on in.
Justin had gotten out first in order to speak with a couple of the unhappy weres about him bringing in Raven and Avery. Seeing Leah coming over to assist, before she went to tend to Grace. "These two are, welcomed and their under my protection as of now. Seeing as we know what that dark feeling was now, so we have been charged with keeping them safe. Mainly the young one, Avery.. in exchange Will gets more territory. His pack will be coming here shortly, they should almost be here by now and Will and Grace have arrived with Leah."

Ruby looked up at Blake and frowned. "Don't you think I know that. I am already preparing for the fact that Nick won't come back to me. Don't you think it is killing me knowing that I may have lost the person I love the most." Tears ran down her face she pulled away and sat on the couch. "Even if he comes through he isn't going to rush into my loving arms." Why did it hurt so much doing the right thing? "If he doesn't come back I am going to have explain this to Avery. I want Nick to be in her life, no I need Nick to be in her life. Nick makes me a better person he doesn't make me a cold emotionless vampire. He makes me feel human and I have grown to love that feeling, I don't want that feeling to go away."
Avery wrinkled her face. "You guys don't understand do you? Mommy saved Daddy." Tears ran down her face. "But Daddy didn't go back to mommy meaning he is making a choice on what side to fight for. Daddy doesn't like the Elders they want to destroy them." Leaving out the part that she was an Elder too and her mother. "Does daddy not like me Auntie Raven?" The smell was horrible she didn't want to offend any of them saying they stink it was her first time being near so many werewolves. Tears kept going down her face and the wind started to howl.
Will was standing waiting for his pack to get here. He was on edge everything was happening so quickly.
"What makes the young one so important?" Asked a wolf noticing the wind start to blow. "That's weird."

Blake nodded feeling bad now that he'd pointed out the obiues but at the same time she had to hear it from someone to know that it was real. Or so he'd heard. Going and sitting on the arm of the couch where she sat. Staying quite for a few moments before saying. "I'm sorry. --- If . If that happens, and it comes to the time where you have to explain this to Avery, I'll be there to help you through this. Both of you."
Raven had gotten out, and had started to collect the backpack, out of the car, before getting Avery out. Stopping and kneeling down, to her, level. "No, baby-- daddy loves you. So, so much don't ever doubt that. But sometimes, things happen. Things we don't expect, and the people we love can get hurt, or sometimes confused, like daddy is. Just because he didn't go back with mommy right now doesn't mean that he wont come back soon."
"She's the daughter of the ruling couple in the vampire world... and for that.." He started then glanced around noticing the shift in the wind as well. Something was happening. Or was going to happen soon.
Leah had seen Justin put a stop to it, and so had gone on to lead Will inside to her clinic. Telling him that she'd run the tests she needed to and get back to him once his pack was here as well. Running the pregnancy test now. She just hoped she was wrong.

Avery shook her head. "Daddy wants all the Elders dead." Noticing the wind and looking down at her feet. "Daddy wants them dead. That means he wants me dead too." Avery was confused she didn't realize there was a difference between Elders and normal vampires. She thought all vampires had the same abilities that she had. It started to thunder and lightening she was causing the storm. "I want mommy and daddy now." Avery screamed loudly.
Ruby looked weakly up at Blake. "Avery." She whispered she could feel the power from here. She needed to stand up and try to figure out to keep Avery calm from here. It would be stupid to use her powers now. "I don't feel so good." Her eyes fluttered shut as her body just stopped functioning. Every part of her was exhausted too a point of no return. "I think I gave to much of my life source a way." Whispering softly and weakly.

Raven looked up at the storm clouds and lightening in the sky. Knowing that it wasn't just a normal wind and rain storm. This was Avery's doing. Ruby had warned her about Avery's powers and how they where connected to her emotions. "Sweetie-- shhh. Elders aren't the same as normal vampires, we don't all have the same abilities you and mommy do. But, some of them, some of the Elders in the past have done bad things and that's caused other vampires the ones with not so many abilities like you have to question and even become scared of the Elders. "
Blake nodded scooping an arm under her to keep her steady on her feet. Feeling how low her life source was. "You have.... you need blood, it'll help with getting your energy back up. And rest. Here you can take some of mine, then I'll portal us to where Avery and Raven are, so that you can speak with her.." He told her gently.

Ruby looked up at Blake. "Blood sounds good, but your smell make me want to vomit." The world seem to spin around her as she rested against Blake. She wasn't sure why his smell maybe it had something to do with Nick. It didn't matter what the reason he wouldn't come to save her.
"You see Nick, she needs your blood. After awakening you a connection that is more than just a simple vampire mate connection was formed. That one there can never be broken. I am sure you remember feeling it the first time you meant Avalon right? It was like you two were made for each other on universe level." Opal glanced at Delilah what was going through her head.
Avery looked up at Raven. "You are afraid of me. Daddy is afraid of me." Tears ran down her face the storm was growing more powerful by the second. "Mommy needs daddy. I need daddy. We are suppose to be one big happy family." She whispered softly feeling heart broken. Out of the corner of her eyes everyone around her was silent and look afraid. Avery grabbed her stuff and elephant and ran off into the woods. Everyone was afraid of her she kept running until she found a dry cave.
Will sighed and shook his head. His pack just arrived seconds after Avery ran off. He walked over to the car that held his nephew. "Jason, I need you to do me a big favor. Avery is here and she is having some family trouble among other things. Most of all she is afraid and ran off in the woods. Maybe you can go after her. I think right now she needs a friend her age than an adult. Plus you are an amazing little tracker." Raven was great at comforting at times, but he knew Jason would be able to help more. His nephew been through so much the past couple years from loosing his parents from changing packs. "And when you two get back you can have ice cream and watch movies."

Nick no matter how dark he was inside and no matter how the light was fighting the darkness inside of him. He knew that Opal was telling the truth. And hated every part of it. Seeing as he did remember that feeling all those many years ago. When he'd first saw Avalon across the room, it had been as if the sun had risen and blinded him to everyone else. Everyone expect Avalon. Just as he could feel that same link and connection now. Even without her having told him, he knew just by looking at her that if he didn't go to her soon, and give her blood- she'd die. And if she died all the light would go with her... all the light power that they'd need in order to stop them. But did he really want to stop them anymore? Just as he had hoped that she wasn't totally dark enough that she would no longer care for the person he'd shown her. Letting go of a deep breath before he looked between the screen and Opal. If he saved Ruby then he'd at least be giving her a fighting chance. After that he could choose to come back and join Opal and Delilah if he wanted to. Rather or not they'd welcome him back with open arms was another thing. But-- he'd deal with that when he made his final decision. "Excuse me.. I just remembered something I had to do.."
Blake nodded helping her keep her balance as she leaned against him for support. "Here, lets sit down... " He told her gently starting to sit her down on the loveseat but kept close to her none the less. Sitting next to her. He wouldn't lie and tell her it was possible that he'd come save her. Seeing as he didn't want to build up her hope for that. Not right now if she was going to die. But if she'd woken him, and part of him was now Nickolas--- that alone might be enough to make him come save her. But he would also not tell her that.
Raven sighed, and watched as Avery grabbed her things and ran into the woods. Looking back when the cars pulled up, seeing the people from Will and Grace's pack. Along with Jason she remembered as Will's nephew. Watching before seeing Jason run off into the woods to look for Avery, then headed inside to see if she could be any help to Leah with Grace.
Leah had finished running the tests that she'd told Will she would run on Grace. To find the results... not in her favor. Even though Will had told her that there was no chance, none at all. That Grace could possibly be carrying-- here it was in black and white on the computer screen. The only question now was: How did she get pregnant if not by Will and how could they go about waking her up? Letting go of a deep and worried sigh, as she cleaned off Graces stomach, and shut down the Manichean just as she heard the door. Turning to see who it was, smiling when she saw that it was Raven. "Hope the others aren't given you to hard of a time.... I heard some of them asking why you and Avery were hear when we arrived. But then had to come tend to Grace, how are you doing?" She asked.
"Alright, I suppose. Will's pack just arrived. He sent Jason to find Avery seeing as she ran away and he's right, she does need someone her age right now to help her through this.. How is she doing?" Raven asked nodding her head to Grace's still form. Hearing Leah's sigh. "Well, she could be better but-- it's not the worst I've ever seen either. I'm done running all the tests I told him about while we were still at the hospital. Would you mind going to get him? I need a word alone with him on Graces update.."
Raven nodded, "Okay." She said then headed out to find Will and tell him that Leah wanted to see him. Heading out the door again to see if he was still outside.

Avery curled into something. "Nooooo." she shouted. Sometimes she hated sensing everything that was going on. "Please no mommy. Mommy open you eyes. Daddy please save mommy. We are supposed to be one big happy family." Avery was well aware of the fact that they couldn't hear her. She also knew someone was following her. The storm was getting worse it was all her fault. "I know someone is out there you can stop following me. I am not going back."
Will was directing his pack to different places. He notice the storm was getting worse. He hoped Jason could help Avery out. "Everyone get into the buildings now." It wasn't a safe to be outside with all the wind blowing, lightening striking every where. He wouldn't be surprise if a twister hit.
Delilah laughed. "Awww too bad you weren't quick enough Nick to save her." She didn't realize that Ruby was barely hanging on. "I mean you can try, but that girl is dead. Now you can be all mine. Wait in order for you to be mine. I would have to kill that little elder." Pushing herself to her feet. "If you leave and try to save her you will make me very angry. I won't be so nice." She threatened. Opal may not have the guts to kill a child, but she wouldn't hesitate if it meant getting him back.
Opal rolled her eyes. "Nickolas doesn't even like you. The way he is looking at her through that screen. He loves her and not you. Nickolas is the only one strong enough to rebuild our people. That was the plan to destroy the Elders and that Avalon."

Nick heard Blake but didn't flinch or make any sign that he had. Seeing as even though he could still feel it both inside of him he did love his daughter and he could feel the connection to Avalon growing even now, while she lay dying. Debating his options here. Save Ruby and Avalon and risk upsetting Delilah enough that she might kill Avery. Or stay and protect Avery but watch Ruby die. Then came up with a plan. Holding up a single finger before resting it on his chin. "What if I go, and save her to give her a fighting chance... give her enough power to recover, then return. The other vampires are expecting a war with us, and they'll be looking for a leader. They'll turn to their queen for a way on how to win the war that they no doubt know is coming. Once we give them that, we can plan on how to better take them out. She'll still be weak when we attack, and will be relying on others to help protect her. I can cut through them in order to get to her on the battle field. But the others need to think that they stand a chance."
Jason had fallowed Avery's sent to the cave. Stopping just inside when he heard her voice coming from one of the corners. Uncle Will was right. She needed a friend, plus once they got back he'd let them watch movies and eat ice cream. Daring another steep inside of the cave. "Avery? It's me, Jason.. " glancing out the entrance to see the storm worsting still.
Raven had gone to the front door and was now helping dercret people to where to go. Seeing Will outside giving orders. Right now he needed to worry about how to keep his pack safe. Then once they were inside they could worry about Grace. Finally everyone was in. Catching Will as he came in, "Leah wants to see you.... it's about Grace."

Delilah laugh. "You actually think you can negotiate with me? You either stay and watch her die or leave and save her. You can't live in the best both worlds. It is actually sad that after all of this. She still loves you. The funny thing is you don't even hesitate about letting her die."
Opal look at Delilah. It was her fault that this person is the way he is now. "Nickolas you're not one of us. Just a couple of days ago you were with her going to get ice cream am I right? No matter how much influence. Even now exactly like you were eons ago, you're still not one us. Yes you are cold hearted and a bit of player, but that girl there is willing to restart everything with you. She knew this would happen, she gave you fighting chance. She knew you she could die by saving you now." Opal sighed and shook her head. "Delilah don't you get Nickolas will never truly be yours." Snapping her finger showing a screen of his daughter.
Avery sniffled a little bit looking up at Jason. "I hate being able to sense everything. Mommy is dying and daddy is lost in confusion. Daddy doesn't love me and mommy anymore." Tears rolled down her rosy cheeks. "We are supposed to be one big happy family. Something is different about daddy. We were supposed to have ice cream that's how it started. Mommy saved daddy sooner than she wanted to and now she is dying." Sobbing he probably didn't get half of the things. "Everyone out there is afraid of me even Auntie Raven."
Will nodded. "I will go see her as soon as this storm is calmer. Which hopefully be soon. It's too dangerous right now for any of us to be out in it."

Jason crossed over and sat next to Avery on the floor of the cave. Reaching over an whipping a few of her tears away from her face. He'd caught most of what she was saying he just didn't understand why. Shaking his head now, once he'd thought back to what he'd sensed from Raven and the others. "No, Auntie Raven isn't scared of you... and neither are the others. They're worried about you. Auntie Raven I saw her for a moment when we pulled up, she looked really worried and so did my Uncle Will. I could sense it, when I got out." He told her gently. Reaching out a hand and placing it on her arm to make her feel better.
Raven nodded, it was too dangerous right now for anyone to be out there. If Jason didn't find Avery soon. Or Avery kept this up, there might very well be a twister.

Avery glanced up at him and sniffled. "They are worried? Do you think my daddy is worried?" The loud bang of thunder made her jump. She didn't realize that she was causing the storm. "I don't like storms daddy and mommy always let me sleep with them." Thinking about the happy memories made her feel even worse. A yawn escaped her mouth she was using a lot of power and it was starting to take a tole on her. "Why are you even here? All of the werewolves don't like me."
Will nodded his head and sighed.
((Sorry this is so short))

Blake hadn't known if he'd come or not. But had thought it at least worth a shot to try. Moving aside once he had come, so that he could save her, seeing as he had also sensed that once he'd arrived. Moving to sit on the arm of the chair.
Jason nodded his head. "Yeah, Auntie Raven looked really worried and so did Uncle Will. I don't really like them either.. but they're calming to sleep by. I like listening to the rain as I fall asleep. I'm a wolf and I like you... Uncle Will likes you do does Grace.. some others might to if they got to know you.." He told her. seeing her yawn. "If you wanna take a nap you can lean on me, I wont let anything happen to you."

Avery shook her head another bang of thunder. Making her jump. Another yawn escaped her mouth she was exhausted. She guessed it wouldn't hurt to lean on him. Resting her head on his arm slowly falling asleep. As soon as she started to sleep the storm started to fizzle away into nothing.

Jason hadn't known that it was Avery that had been causing the storm. But figured it out as soon as it started to fizzle away once she'd fallen asleep. He'd bring her back to the camp once she woke. Seeing as he didn't want to disrube her now. And he wasn't strong enough yet to be able to carry her. Leaning back against the wall behind him as she leaned on him.
Raven looked out the window as she heard the wind die down some, seeing that the storm was breaking. Jason must of finally talked Avery down. Which was good, for all of them. She thought, as she headed to the next room to make sure everyone was okay.

Avery opened her eyes and started to rub them some. "The storm is over," she said chirpily. "I bet I can beat you back to the camp." Avery giggled unaware that she caused the storm. A nap did the trick last night she didn't get as much sleep as she needed so she was a little upset. Not to mention everything she was sensing overwhelmed her, but right now everything felt good.
Will gave a sigh of relief when the storm was over. Walking out and into where Leah was. "Before the storm got bad Raven said you wanted to talk to me? Is everything okay with Grace?" he asked concerned.

Blake stood and left the room knowing that they'd need a moment of alone time before they began the training. Heading out to meet the other vampires. They may not trust him completely but they did however trust him enough to fight along side him in the coming battle. Plus he knew from experience the only way they'd get through this was with trust.
Jason laughed as she hoped up to take off back to the camp. Hoping up himself. "Last one there's a rotten egg!" He called. Starting to give chase as well.
Leah had kept a sharp eye on Grace all through out the storm. Unsure if it would effect anything going on within her or not. It hadn't though. Which was good. Looking up once the door opened and Will entered the room asking about what was going on since Raven had been able to reach him before the storm had gotten really bad. But had known that he wouldn't risk his pack or anyone else to come and hear what she had to tell him during it either. As she wouldn't of either. Giving a nod, as she leaned against her desk. "Before the storm hit, I ran all the tests I told you that I would, to see what I could find out. Raven came to see if she could help any, but by that time I was already done. Everything seemed normal, with the first couple of tests I ran, but as I ran a couple that the human doctors wouldn't run and don't even know about because it's something that's just for werewolves... things started popping up. So, I did a pregnancy test even though you told me there was no chance she could possibly be just to make sure. The results... I don't know. I can't explain it Will. There is no reason I can think of that can explain it at least. Maybe Raven knows something I didn't ask or tell her what I found, seeing as I wanted you to know first. But, the results of the pregnancy test,-- it's positive. She is indeed pregnant."
Raven felt so bad for Avery but knew that she couldn't take her back. "I'm sorry honey. But mommy asked me to keep you safe. So we're going to be with Will and Grace for a bit, while Mommy is brave and takes care of things." She told her stopping outside of the room Grace and the others were in.
