SOLVED. YA 80s/90s Paranormal ghost book [s]

The book had a beautiful cover with a Girl in a white dress or nightgown that was front-lit by a candle she was holding. The story is of a girl who sees ghosts and a boy who sees the ghosts at their last moments which were usually gruesome. I believe they helped to solve some the mysteries surrounding the deaths. I think her grandmother/mother was a fortune teller who read tea leaves. That's all I can remember except that it was really interesting.
