how to combine books on different pages?

This is the only way I'm aware of so far. Remember reading that other librarians use names like 'temptemp' and then revert the changes.

Lethe - that is how I combined them. Named the edition with both names - first primary, then translation and then rename back.
I was only curious, if it's okay or if there is another way, like using simple boolean operators (OR, AND) in filter by keywords field. (it's just an example)

That's a different issue's workaround.

I mean by that, if the author has a long list of books and you want to combine them, you get the titles listed on several pages. You can browse through pages, or click on letters or use filter. So far so good.
Now, when the edition title differs from primary book title or it's a translation - thus different title, happens that the primary work is on the pg1 and edition on the pg5 and you just can't combine them. (PK Dick: Paycheck and other stories + Výplata (Czech translation)
Filters by letters or by keyword are not helping - it finds the first book or the second, not both and once. If there is a way to display both on one page I don't see it.
Well, I solved the problem by temporary renaming, but I'm not sure if that is OK or if there is better way.
I know that best is to add new edition to primary work, and if I can I do it, in this case I was just completing one poorly added book and I think that I can run in the same problem again.
