Shatter Me question

I thought this book was pretty strange. I mean, I liked it, but I do not feel at all compelled to read the sequels. Why, I'm not sure. It just felt sort of bland, maybe predictable. Sort of an X-men rip-off meets every YA dystopian novel I've read lately. Read it if you want, it's not terrible, but don't expect fireworks.

I understand your reluctance and the beginning of this book is very strange, but give it a chance. The POV is coming from the female lead and she is in a very dark place. If you like the dystopian genre, you might enjoy this. I'll tell you this much, I liked this a whole lot better than the Divergent series that I am currently struggling to finish.

i did not like this series. i did not find the story exceptional.to top it the characters were lame. i will never fall for the whole *broken* crap.
