Christel Price (cjprice) | 2 comments I'm looking to find a quality line editor for my next book. My book is a non-fiction short read, around 20,000 words and is in the travel genre.

Please let me know if you would be suited to this job.

Thanks!

Christel:

Is your non-fiction book written in UK English?

If so, be sure to hire someone familiar with this style. Many say they can line edit anything, but there are subtle differences that only those experienced with UK English have mastered.

Good luck with your search!

P.N. Elrod (pnelrod) | 90 comments I've more than 25 years experience in fiction and non-fiction and am familiar with a number of styles required for both. My rates are on my website, along with titles of the many commercially published books I've edited.

If you're still looking for an editor, I too would be happy to talk with you, do a sample edit, and provide you with an estimate.

J.M. Rankin (jmrankin) | 64 comments Hi Christel,

I am a fully qualified copy-editor and proofreader, with over seven years experience working freelance for both publishers and authors alike. I work regularly for a mainstream publisher who specialise in travel guides and so have extensive experience in this genre.

I am always happy to complete a free sample of up to 1000 words so that you are able to see how I would work with your manuscript.

Please feel free to contact me at whitediamondedits[at]gmail.com or here on Goodreads, and I will be more than happy to quote you for an in-depth line edit.

Best wishes
Jacqui
