Yeah I actually have no problem with America (other than her putting an all-innocent front) but I hate the way we are forced to love her. That makes me want to hate her just for the pleashre of disagreeing 😂

Finished Elite. I feel this was better than The Selection in someways. There was a bit more action. (view spoiler)[And thankfully America has decided to stick to Maxon for once. I hate to see all that Maxon's doing for his love. She doesnt deserves so much! I hope she reveals Aspen's presence in the castle to him soon. And why are the rebels so vicious exactly? Oh I agree she has no room to complain. Frankly, I couldn't do it though. I could never open up to someone who was also looking into another. She has no long term resolve whern it comes to these guys but I kinda get it if I saw someone I was offering meslef to take that and then run off with another. I'd feel hurt and a lot less inclined to keep that offer on the table. That's all. Not saying her game play between them is okay. It isn't. Review:(view spoiler)[I still agree with a lot above. At this point America's wishy washy feelings for both Aspen and Maxon are really starting to get on my nerves. It's probably realistic but I don't read books for their realism. lol.

Despite having read this before I had forgotten what a horrible man the King is. I still can't believe that he abuses Maxon and that his mother knows nothing about it! I am really glad the King dies early!!! -.-

I don't really feel the same way about Aspen anymore. I'm just fed up with the all three of them and want America and Maxon to get together finally!

I'm glad that Marlee was able to get her happy ending. I know that she gets and even happier ending later on but for now I'm happy she is safe and with the man she loves. :) (hide spoiler)]

Review: (view spoiler)[I have a different view of Amberly and Clarkson in this book. While I do still sympathize with them I still don't like their personalities. Amberly is too meek and Clarkson is domineering. I'm sad to know that because of their personalities Maxon will have as hard if not a harder life than Clarkson had.

I was surprised that Clarkson was willing to overlook Amberly possibly not being able to have children. But then again he said himself that he doesn't like children and has shown it in the way he treats Maxon.

I really saw how badly the pressure is on those who rule. It seems even if people are normal and happy before they join the royal family they are soon warped under the pressure.

I'd also forgotten that the rebels had already started attacking back when Clarkson and Amberly were in the selection. I thought it was after. O.o (hide spoiler)]
