Page 20, 5%. I read the first two pages, and I thought 'Hunger Games'. Castes, just like districts. And I don't like the stereotypicalness of it, the cliche of her (view spoiler)[not wanting to go to the palace all because the loves Aspen, and so she goes anyway, and what do you know, she likes Maxon and he likes her. But, of course, she'll probably try to deny her feelings for him. So stupid! (hide spoiler)] Ugh, it just makes me annoyed. That never happens in real life. And always to the person who 'never expected it' or 'never wanted it'. Bleh.

49% (view spoiler)[Can't believe the actually kneed Maxon in the groin! But I like how she's so honest and tells him the reasons behind everything. That'd be scary, being attacked by the rebels. But I liked Maxon and America's little conversation during it. I also like the way America treats her maids. (hide spoiler)]

She knows now that she likes him as a person, he confides in her, he takes her out on dates, she has no reason to go home because Aspen isn't hers anymore, so I'm confused. She's so selfish. Just go for it! But I like how she doesn't want to be the centre of attention. I'd be the same about the red dress. I'd feel uncomfortable and awkward. (hide spoiler)]

FINALLY AMERICA SEES SENSE! 'Yes, I still had feelings for Aspen. I couldn't undo that. But if I couldn't be with him, then what was holding me back from being with Maxon? Nothing more than my preconceived ideas of him, which were nothing close to who he was.' (hide spoiler)]

Ugh America's moment with Aspen. Why do I feel like he's so fake? And the rebel attack must be so scary! I like how America stood up for her ladies. (hide spoiler)]
