Reading Slumps

In the past few years I have had different friends live with me. I would get into slumps, because I'd be hanging out with them, and when it got to when I would usually read I didn't even want to. Which is crazy for me. Usually to get out of the slump, I try to either read a book off of my read-again list. Which is a few books that no matter what, I could read over and over again, because they are just that amazing. Or if that doesn't work or I want a new book, I pick one from a series I need to finish.
I'm currently in a reading slump and have been for months. I think I'm just burnt out and stressed with life in general so it's taking a toll on my reading. I just can't seem to get interested in anything.

I'm in big reading slumps right now and I really hate it! Maybe it's because I have been doing a lot of assignments and projects from uni recently. So, everytime I want to read a book, I feel lazy and tired. It's very annoying! ;((

I always get a slump whenever I finish a book I didn't like that much, or when I find the book I'm reading boring and really slow paced. What I do is, sometimes I stop for days then I try to read again. I usually go for novellas and short books when I'm in a slump because they take less time to finish. After I finish a book, I get my reading enthusiasm back and that's what gets me out of my slump. :D

Read a book based on a tv show. They are often fast good reads, and off course fun.

I had a reading slump after reading The Blood of Olympus and The Death Cure. I looked up some memes and I was able to read the next day.

My reading slumps can sadly last for a year. I used to love to read when I was in middle school/high school but now at twenty-five I get so busy or procrastinate too much. As for cures I don't usually have one. I just wait until I feel like reading again.
I'm in a reading slump today...3 of the books I have in progress are slow. And I just finished an erotica book that I didn't realize was going to be that sex filled and another book I'm reading has sex in it too, so I'm really tired of graphic sex and I'm not even feeling romance. And romance is actually my go to for my reading slumps. So I will have to resort to a YA paranormal romance...and I will carefully check the reviews to pick a winner.
