message 151: by somebody, Stuck with Silver (new)

somebody | 332 comments "Yea, chess. Why not? It means I'm perfect at being able to predict someone's move plenty times in advanced" He chuckled lightly with a small shake of his head. "Imagine how much easier dating would be? Or investing? Or getting into business or being a cop?" He checked with her. "I'd be rich" He stated. "But if you don't accept that as a sport, I'd have to go with snowboarding-Cause I'd look cool" He laughed a small grin appearing on his face that soon began to cover it all.

message 152: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "Okay, that makes more sense. I think snowboarding would put you in a better dating scene though, everyone knows chess players are geeks," she teased him softly as she leaned her head against his shoulder. "I'm tired," she murmured, finding a comfortable nook against his shoulder to nestle herself, her side brushing his. She was like this often, she would go from zero to sixty and back again in split seconds, her body was used to a schedule, and she was disrupting it by staying up late.

somebody | 332 comments "Plus I'd have my good looks to help me with that-I could be a nerd tho-sexy geeks with style" He chuckled lightly, his arm moving away from hers to drift around her shoulders and pulling her to him. "You should probably get rest" He admitted lightly, turning his head to the side as he watched the way she moved. He was a firm believer in that you could tell a person's life story by how they act, words can only mean so much but body language spoke much more. Then again most the time it felt like he was the only one who actually thought that.

message 154: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "Sexy nerd," Kenzie murmured, shaking her head, pulling a blanket up around her shoulders to tuck under her chin. "You should sleep too. No use in you staying up, I want you awake when I'm awake," she told him, curling closer to his warmth in an innocent, childish way. "I'm kind of glad I got stuck in here with you," she murmured, letting her eyes drift closed, her body quickly relaxing into the steady patterns of sleep.

somebody | 332 comments "Well, I'm really glad I got stuck with you" He teased her lightly, allowing her to lean against him. He was her pillow officially. And he loved it. "Not the fact that I'm stuck but being with you kind of makes up for it-the fact that I actually met you makes up for it" He admitted with a small smile as he stared at her, his eyes gleaming lightly as he looked down at her for a moment his eyelids slowly feeling heavy on him. He slid off his shoes for the first time in a while and let his feet take off his socks. "But yea, I'll sleep"

Megan (nightrunner) (SKIP))

Kenzie woke up in the morning confused, her surroundings unfamiliar. She let her eyes scan around the room until the events of the previous night reached her, and she realized the pressure on her shoulders was his arm, Luke's arm. He was so sweet, and his chest was comfortable to sleep against. She hadn't even slept restlessly last night like she did almost every night. She yawned, shifting slightly to stretch her back, smiling to herself.

message 157: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) ((Going to bed, won't be on tomorrow, might be able to get on saturday.))

message 158: by somebody, Stuck with Silver (new)

somebody | 332 comments ((Seriously? I replied to this -.- I'm upset. But I'll manage))

Luke's head was rolled to the side, him sleeping up until the moment she shifted. "Morning" he breathed out to her, his eyes burning a bit at the fact that they had to stay opened. His hands moving to rub his eyes and ride him of the blurryness. Him pulling her close to him to do that. His voice was groggy due to waking up and was deeper than normal- which usually wouldn't have surprised him, if he hadn't been expecting to wake up in his bed.

message 159: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) Kenzie looked over as he spoke, a little surprised. She handled it flawlessly though, smiling at him, "Good morning," she greeted him, a bit surprised as he pulled her closer, she carefully slipped away from him to stand up, stretching up onto her tiptoes, stretching her arms up almost to the ceiling. "How did you sleep?" she asked, her eyes already bright and alert. It didn't take her long to wake up, and she tended to be a morning person.

message 160: by somebody, Stuck with Silver (new)

somebody | 332 comments "I've slept better but I'll manage" he admitted with a small shrugging of his shoulders, him sighing lightly as he rested his head against the wall, waiting a couple seconds before he got up, stretching out his legs and such and yawning. "So- uh- how are you?" He checked with her, raising an eyebrow to her as he decided on just staying without shoes and socks. "Planning on going back to the ice?" He checked for the moment, biting his lip before he opened theMed room door.

message 161: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "Well, I was going to go up and see if the storm had broken yet. If it has, I need to head home. If not, then yeah, I'll probably get out on the ice. If you run music for me, I can show you the routine I've been working on?" she offered, thinking they at least had to pass some time. "And I'm great, thanks." She looked around the room, tiding up the room until it looked like they hadn't even been there. "You might want to grab your shoes, hopefully we won't have to come back down here."

KBelle | 21 comments Elidh walked into the ice rink, surprised all the lights were on. It was 3:30 but she preferred to use the ice before any of the morning crowd set foot on it. She sat on a bench by the gate and unzipped her powder blue and yellow bag, embroidered with paisley designs and her name. She pulled her white boots out and laced them up tightly, taking the blade guards off and laying them beside her bag, making sure the cuffs of her jeans covered her ankles to prevent a chill before stepping out onto the smooth, frictionless surface and sighing. This was it. Austria. Here. Anywhere on earth, the rink was her home. She sighed and put her earbuds in as she started a few warm up laps.

"With any luck I won't get fired" Luke laughed a bit, however the main goal in that was to keep himself from getting too unsettled. Honestly his boss was an ass and he wouldn't have put it past him to fire him or something for eating and not doing his job the whole time. He bent down to grab his shoes and such, letting out a yawn, stretching, and them blinking his eyes to her as he tried to keep them open the best he could manage.

somebody | 332 comments [({Hello? Not to be pushy XD})]

message 165: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "No! Please don't get fired because of me!" she exclaimed, turning to look worried at him. She turned around to face him. "If you get fired because of me, I'll feel terrible, where would you work? And would you still be able to stay here?" she asked, suddenly worried that she wouldn't be able to see him again.

message 166: by somebody, Stuck with Silver (new)

somebody | 332 comments "I would have to work somewhere else...Perhaps on the streets with a card board sign that says he's an asshole-Though I doubt he will, well, if he has any sense in him. I didn't have much of a choice with showing up late to work. Though everything else deserves some punishment" He shrugged with a light sigh, honestly it kind of how things went, the man was harsh, though has never been to fire him. "Perhaps I should get to actually fixing up that ice?" He had forced a chuckle to get off the subject.

message 167: by KBelle (new)

KBelle | 21 comments Elidh continued, speeding up before going into a camel spin, which was just practice for her. Yet when she went to try a simple salchow her toe pick caught on a patch of uneven ice and she tumbled forward into the wall with a thud before standing angrily.

message 168: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) Kenzie still felt terrible about him possibly being hurt because of her, no matter what his boss was like. "Yeah, you better go do the ice. I'll be good and stay off it so you won't get in trouble, and I have money in my bag, we can put it in the register to pay for the food," she offered, thinking that should help keep him from getting in trouble.

message 169: by somebody, Stuck with Silver (new)

somebody | 332 comments Luke shrugged it off. "I left some on the counter in the bundle with a note while you were skating. All I need to do is clean off the ice-" He started to explain before noticing someone was already on the ice. "One, I'm guessing I won't have to clean that since someone is here, and two would be that I'm guessing we can also leave if she got in" He chuckled lightly, running his fingers through his hair. "So all is good" He chuckled lightly.

message 170: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) Kenzie relaxed, gathering up her bag and grabbing her coat. "Want to head to my house with me then? I need to tend to my babies," she asked him, thinking there was no use for her being on the ice, and they could do breakfast back at her place. She ran her fingers through her hair, grimacing as she watched the girl fall. "Poor thing. Those always hurt," she murmured, moving toward the door, thinking he must not have locked it last night, or not well anyway.

message 171: by somebody, Stuck with Silver (new)

somebody | 332 comments Luke let out a small laughed shaking his head lightly. Obviously he must have forgotten as someone else had gotten in. And he mentally slapped himself for that. "Poor things, left all alone in the scary storm" He faked a female voice his time going high-pitched as he chuckled, him moving to hold the door open for her. "Ladies first" He grinned to her, though he knew that after this he'd really be just following her. He bowed lightly, giving the girl a light wink. Kenzie deserved it.

message 172: by KBelle (new)

KBelle | 21 comments Elidh stood up, her anger boiling as her eyes fell on the girl. McKenzie. Yet she clearly didn't know who Elidh was. "Watch who you're talking about. I'm not a beginner. You're boyfriend just didn't feel the need to fix the ice because you were too busy" she spat, before flying into a camel spin, her speed expert. It had been the fastest and tightest at nationals, yet she was aiming for better.

Megan (nightrunner) ((Should we just move them to her cabin?))

somebody | 332 comments ((Uh yea, I was just finishing a girl I pretty much had done for the weekend on Friday but I ended up trying to "bedazzle her. Though I've looked through some and their good so far :33))

Megan (nightrunner) ((Yeah, I'm only posting four , then I'll post a new one each day from this day out until Thursday.))
